I have said it before I will say it again, marvel has no idea what the thell they are doing with gr.

The first movie at worst was campy the second was flat out stupid. Marvel nreds to leave gr alone for awhile.hopefully the fact that the sequel didn't do as well as the forst will disswayed the studios from persuing gr further.

But it isn't Marvel. They would know what to do, as they own Ghost Rider, but they didn't make the crap movie.

Given the quality of the last gr series I am not sure they would know. Even the Way/Aarons run, whi h werefar superior, show a lack of understanding imo.

Ghost Rider is one of the most convoluted characters in comics. Are there two demons that need a host or just one? Blaze and Ketch turned out to be related. So many GRs have been around that its hard to keep tractof them. Wasn't even Blaze and Ketchs mother a GR in the minus issue? Plus this new female GR, Vengeance and the ex slave in post Civil War America thrown in just makes things more confusing. Not to mention those extra spirits of vengeance that popped up in the '90s series at the end.

That seems to be back on the table.

There will be more Ghost Rider...at some point. Same for Punisher. I'd say in the next 10yrs at least.
I agree, Ghost Rider is a great visual and interesting character, sadly, Marvel and/or the studios involved just have poor taste when it comes to crafting a movie involving him.

Basically, Frank Castle is a cop by day and The Punisher by night.

"An early description of the new potential series suggests that both Marvel and Fox haven't learned their lesson about tinkering with the Punisher. In this incarnation, Frank Castle will be a "rising star detective" in the New York Police Department who moonlights as the Punisher to hunt down those beyond the reach of the law. There's actually a series very close to that premise already on TV... and it's called "Dexter."

I can never tell if ANYTHING said about Cage is sarcastic. People on the internet either want to kill him, or have sex with him.

Well, there goes another one of my favorite characters, At least Cap, Thor, Iron Man and the Avengers were awesomely adapted to the big screen, and little screen (Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes)

Really? The man is a terrible actor. He plays the same character in every movie, and they are all terrible.

What are the good movies with him in them again? Okay, Con Air was cool, but it had NOTHING to do with him...
Bring back my DC! In the meantime, make mine Marvel and Image!

Can we assume there will be no more Ghost Rider movies? No, I'm sure Marvel will do something with him again down the line, and me personally I would get all giddy if they did a Blade teamup/Midnight Sons movie.

Can we assume there will be no more Nicolas Cage Ghost Rider movies? We can only hope.
