That seems to be back on the table.

There will be more Ghost Rider...at some point. Same for Punisher. I'd say in the next 10yrs at least.
Marvel actually has the rights to Punisher back and are developing it as a TV series for Fox. Yes, Marvel, owned by Disney which owns ABC and other networks and they are actually working with Fox. Good thing is that it is a Marvel production and a show like that would be better on Fox than ABC. Curious to see if it actually makes it on air.

....wait...these movies were real?! i thought that it was all a bad dream. i mean why would anyone, logically, believe that Nic Cage is the best choice to play Johnny Blaze?

Because he lobbied so hard it hurt. Remember this is the person who named himself after Luke Cage and his son after Superman.

About as much as he can do without those things... You know, point his finger, open wide his eyes and do a bad Elvis impersonation.

    Peace

I think he did lobby for playing doc strange, its called sorceror's apprentice.

On topic- this might be an opening for marvel to snatch back the rights.

Crystal Sky / Columbia are not going to give up the rights on a property that has more than doubled their investment each time. What makes you think this might be an opening for Marvel to snatch any rights?

Personally, I hope the series doesn't get picked-up. The premise sounds terrible.

I'd like to see Nicholas Cage play Luke Cage. That would be interesting in the next Avengers film.

I only heard that it was in development at Fox, but not specific details. What's the pitch?

Really!? I get to be the first person to respond to Dr. Balls?

Cage is awesome, but he's a bad Ghost Rider.

Thanks! I love Nic Cage, because he's awesomely bad. I really didn't mind the Ghost Rider in terms of campiness - but in terms of continuity to the true character: yeah, it sucks pretty hard.
