After the ending of AVENGERS, with the reveal of the REAL villain, I have to admit, no small part of me SCREAMED for Marvel to buy the rights to their characters back so that we could have AVENGERS 3: THE INFINITY GAUNTLET, Pt.1 & 2, a two part 'crossover extravaganza' starring every marvel hero ever in a battle royale to save the universe...C'mon, Disney...get on it!
Whenever a theory appears to you as the only possible one, take this as a sign that you have neither understood the theory nor the problem which it was intended to solve.
I'm just waiting for a Heroes For Hire trilogy to happen. 1st - Luke Cage. 2nd - Immortal Iron Fist. 3rd - Heroes For Hire. Perhaps Daughters of the Dragon and Paladin could make it a "quintology" or pentalogy.

I wish they owned all their characters too.
I love some of the non-Marvel Studios movies but the movies done by Marvel Studios just feel like the REAL Marvel movies to me, idk.
They should at least get the Fantastic Four back. >>;
Pull list: Amazing Spider-Man, Deadpool, Scarlet Spider, Defenders, Uncanny X-Force, JiM, W&TXM, Swamp Thing, i Vampire, Adventure Time, Snarked, Avengers vs X-Men
to be perfectly honest, i do wish marvel would get the rights back to fantastic four. i have been dying to see namor brought to the big screen...even moreso after avengers. but, i wouldn't want him debuting unless it was in a fantastic four story. at least at first.
If Marvel owned the rights to all of their movies, perhaps would would have been spared the three Punisher, two Fantastic Four and one Daredevil movies. But they weren't as bad as Catwoman. I don't think anycomicbook movie has reach those depths yet.
People tend to forget how huge the first X Men movie was. At the time the only movies based on comics that were being released were the batman sequels. That X Man movie paved the way for super hero movies, the good and bad, for the next decade. Thank you fox.
Then came along Iron Man and raised the bar even higher(also the recent batman movies). The last fox released super hero movie X Men: First Class was a success. I think fox is trying to compete. With Marvel releasing such acclaimed movies, Fox has to up their game even more.
Competition is good. Avengers would have probably been sub par if fox didn't pave the way with good and awful movies.
