    It's a book about girls.

Girls are icky and have cooties!

(At least, that's how it probably feels to some comic book fanboy geeks.
Unless it's blatant cheesecake T & A, do books with female leads really get a fair shake from many comic book buyers? )

That is a great idea, bring cass or steph back into the DCU by putting them in BoP that will up sales to new heights!!!

I love BoP and hope it won't end, but there is a ton of other 52 books that should end before BoP.

Or at least Duane Swierczynski, that way he can tell DC lol. I am a Cass fan, never read Steph before, but I really do think this is a great idea to up sales. (as long as they remove Batgirl to add Cass or Steph.)

I notice that Batwing wasn't on the list. I guess it'll be sooner or later that it gets cancelled. Sad, I like the character. On second note, I do hope Batgirl and Red Hood continues to fall after the Night of Owls, never really liked the books or the characters so far.

"Fair shake" means that some people say (or think) "I don't want to read a book about girls" and dismiss it outright without seeing if it may actually be interesting and entertaining.

(I don't think they automatically assume a girl has to have a purse filled with girly crime-fighting gimmicks, like 1950's and 60's Batwoman did, but I can't swear to that.)

I get it. Merely believing that you won't like a book isn't enough. To be fair you must try it to make sure. As an example, if someone says they'd hate reading a book about characters that speak in rhyme, it would follow by your definition that they would not be giving a book about a rhyming character a fair shake.

    Doesn't matter a bit.
I still think it's a fun suggestion to make.
The fact that it drives you nuts is icing on the cake.

    Etrigan-Underdog for the win!
