Yep, I am still here, not giving a shit.
Unless we are talking about breakfast cereals, because that shit is serious business.
you people do realize that with all of these industries and all of these companies there are boards of executives comprised of real people making decisions about, yes, the future of what cereals or soft drinks or even movies and books and comics that you will have access to. which ones will be green lit and which ones will be spiked.
and do you know what, in the most general sense, determines that? sales. if you choose to remain ignorant of these market forces and take what comes to you then so be it. there are some who wouldn't mind in engaging in a reasoned discussion about how to, as a consumer, impact or influence what it is that will come to market or perhaps what trends are leading companies, with their unique mission statements that according to them distinguish them from their competition, to do the things they do.
just because you don't play doesn't mean the game isn't afoot. i don't get what is wrong with some of you people?
Shit you not, first thing under posts you've created:
Do you like DC over marvel
man, it's kind've a zoo.
Politics are one thing, typing a bunch of shit about how important it is that Superman sold more than Spider-man is a little more than stupid.
And I have just spent time typing this stuff out on a message board, which means I am probably a hypocrite, or I am bored.
Or a little of both.
By his standards Bruce Wayne earned his wealth on his own
Let me put it this way: I don't buy any cereals from Post, or General Mills, or Kellogs. One day, I decide to buy Chex cereal from General Mills. I try the cereal, do not like it, and decide not to buy it again. Now, what Post or Kellogs, or even GM decide to do because of that has zero effect on my life. How much money they make does not affect me in any way. Which TV shows or magazines they run ads in will not affect my life. If GM decides to make variations of Chex, it will not affect my life. If they discontinue making Chex, it will have no effect on my life. The numerous alternatives to Chex do not affect my life. Post selling more cereal than GM or Kellogs (and vice versa) does not affect my life.
None of these factors make me feel good or bad. They do not make me better nor worse than anyone else.
(Apologies if I got Affect & Effect mixed up there. So very tired.)
I love it when the Marvel and DCo boardies grace us with their presence.

You are not discussing these things as literature.
You are discussing them as commodities and numbers.
So the cereal analogy applies.
