Heh, you'd think that Commissioner Gordon would be one of the people the Court of Owls sentences to die no?, nope, instead they just warn him not to light the bat signal.... i don't get it.

Maybe they'll kill him last and are playing with his mind?

I reread Batman 8 just to check a detail on this and there is even a deputy sheriff who was kill by the talons, and most ppl being shown to die are low level officers too but we know that even the mayor is being attack

I honestly believe that Gail is sabotaging this book from the inside, there is just no way that she turn into such a crappy writer so fast

Man, and here we go, judging a book's full contents by the preview.

The Talons are the ones doing the killing, so it's clear that the mystery man wouldn't be the one to pull the proverbial trigger, and could potentially just be setting up Gordon via the threat. I don't know, and neither do any of you already chastising the book.

Seriously, jesus christ, I'll be the first to admit this hasn't consistently been an A+ tier book, but like no other, people are oh so willing to jump all over it's case here. For %&#@s sake, it's no wonder Gail doesn't post here anymore.

You can't even seem to keep your anti-Batgirl diatribes factually accurate anymore. It clearly states in the solicit that Batgirl is protecting her father from a talon, the one obviously fighting Batgirl in the preview. Obviously the Owls don't want Jim to be tempted to give hope to the city of Gotham with the Bat-signal BEFORE their female talon makes it to her target, which is Jim.

Don't worry though, Batgirl being the protagonist of the story will save both her dad and 3rd most important character of the bat-mythos (the 2nd being Alfred) before the end of the ish I'm sure.

Im serious on this, this is a major mistake cause is going 100% against the MO of the Court of Owls, this didnt happen with anyone else

and could potentially just be setting up Gordon via the threat.

the objective is killing all the targets
thats it, and the method has been consistent so far

this is inexcusable
