Also, don't forget Sean Murphy's upcoming Punk Rock Jesus!
Punk Rock Jesus is a mini series however.

Vertigo has released a few ongoings this year. but I'm not worried they are still putting out some of/if not the best titles in comics

Why did you pick that particular title? I like it, but I don't think it is the best one out there.

This is such a tremendous book. I'm still a little behind on it (just finished the story that Matt Kindt drew), but it's absolutely one of my favorite series. I'll be said to see it go but I'm looking forward to what I expect will be a tremendous ending.

I didn't want start reading books that had tons of back issues to it and the owner of my LCS recommended it to me. It literally came out the week I walked into my LCS. It is the one title I stuck with over the past 3+ years.

Wonderful book. Would you rather see it collected as Deluxe HC's or an Invisibles-style omnibus?

Is this title worth picking up in trade? I have always heard good things about it but don't know what it is about.

It is absolutely worth picking up in whatever format you can get your hands on. Without going into any spoilers, it takes place in a world where a world-wide plague has decimated society and caused strange animal/human hybrids to start popping up. The main character is Gus, a boy with antlers who had been hidden to keep safe, but wanders out into the world after his father passes away, and starts getting swept up in the action. I wouldn't say it's slow exactly, but it does have a very deliberate and precise pacing that takes some getting used to. I highly recommend you give the whole first story arc a shot before making a judgment on it.

Like everyone else, I'm sad to see it go but so happy it gets to go out on its own terms.

Not at all crazy. Snyder and Lemire mentioned at NYCC how they discussed the possibility of swapping artists for their titles but nothing more than discussions were at that stage. There are only four issues of ST left and AV is currently telling an important story arc so I doubt it will happen. Although, I would still love to see Lemire do the art for an arc in AV.

I remember Lemire saying numerous times during interviews (as well as in person at NYCC) how the title will go "30 to 40 issues." So while I'm sad it's ending, it's ending exactly how he wants it to end. I'm always happy to hear a title is "ending" as opposed to "cancelled."

I heard Lemire will be working on another project, following SWEET TOOTH.

This, to me, is very exciting.
