    killed his father,
The horrible father that treated him like crap, killed him mom, and made him lie about it?
Then got into a fight on his mom's grave?

killed thousands of people with the bombs he's created
Let me get this straight, if you create anything that can be used to kill some one.... you are evil?
And can you show me the comics that his gamma bombs are used to kill thousands of people?

and used his son Skaar as a decoy while he rescued Betty in Fall of the Hulks resulting in his son being badly wounded. In the new Jason Aron series Banner has turned an entire island into a gamma fuelled version of the Island of Dr. Moreau. He's not exactly a balanced guy.
You cant kill a Hulk and Hulk knows this.

Yeah he wanted to study the reaction of Gamma rad on stuff.

Then you did not read Pak's run.
I ask again, what does that have to do with thinking Banner is evil for working with Gamma is a silly idea?

Anyway, let me just stop here cause this isnt going nowhere and this isnt the topic.

Nope, it was Banner, not Hulk that did everything I listed. If you don't see hitting your one-time wife as wrong I guess there isn't much more to say. Regardless I feel no need to convince you of Banners characterization. All you need do is open a current Hulk comic. This is the way it is like it or not. Deal with it.

Eric Bana simply because he can act well

Eric Bana's name is also similar to Hulk's real name.

and Eric Bana looks better than Edward, Mark and Lou

Definitely Ruffalo. Bana is a great actor but I couldn't relate to his Banner at all. As for Edward Norton, I totally agree with the poster upthread that said it was too much like an "Edward Norton character" that happened to be Bruce Banner.

I truthfully wasn't expecting much from Ruffalo, who has never really wowed me in any films before, but he definitely knocked this out of the park and then some.

The Banner in Avengers wasn't exactly living in paradise either, and in fact was shown to be pretty street smart in calling out Black Widow's bluff when she was "recruiting" him (one of my favorite scenes for Ruffalo's Banner, actually).

I'm mystified by people saying they were surprised by Ruffalo. The guy was amazing in You Can Count on Me, and he was also awesome in The Kids Are All Right. I realize these weren't seen by as many people as, I dunno, Fight Club, but he's a really good actor and it's not surprising he did a great job with the role.

Agreed..Ruffalo is a personal favorite of mine as an actor and from what I've read and seen in interviews just seems like a hell of a guy in general. Was excited he got this part and he knocked it out of the park.

Really? I thought he had a conflicting project and wasn't going to be available for when filming was scheduled to begin?

I always dug Bixby's green eyes as they were transforming and the dramatic music... if they had done something like that in the Avengers, something a little similiar to that a homage to the show, the crowd would have eaten it up. I know I would have... The Hulk transformations DO need a little drama.

I don't think theres any project that would supercede the Avengers.

    His eyes were actually blue.

We sorta got that in the Avengers when he looks over at Black Widow as he changes. No green eyes but same effect.

However, the effect was in The Incredible Hulk and was imitated in Captain America:
