What's all this about a 'Flashpoint' film?

There have been rumors about a 'Flashpoint' DTV lately...I've been wondering if there's any truth to that.

If it DOES come about, will it be just an alternate universe tale or will it be a kind off 'reboot' of the DC animated movieverse. Will we be seeing stories from the 'new 52' adapted soon?

It will most likely be similar to the story but will have things taken out and changed. I don't see it actually being a start of the DC animated department turning all the characters to look like their 52 counter parts. In fact I think they will all be back in their classic look by the end of the film.

Batman's voice-actor Kevin Conroy said during an interview that he just finished recording for a movie revolving about the Flash, and then let the name "Flashpoint" out.
No confirmation yet, but it's pretty clear there's truth in the news.

Kevin Conoy leaked that he was voicing BAtman in the film Flashpoint, on a comicbookclub type youtube video

I'd be SO disappointed if he just ended up being the voice of Batman at the end, and not Flashpoint Bat dad.

I feel like Conroy would have said something more enthusiastic if he was going to do something really big and different like Batman in Flashpoint.

that is my guess on what happens. He didn't give me the sense he was overly involved in this one. Probably no more than 5 minutes or something. Unless they retcon the story and simply remove Bat dad and have him be an alternate version of Bruce, like in the Savage Time

Conroy has voiced Thomas Wayne before in B:TAS. So it's possible that he will in this film as well.
