Who wants a commitment?

You should feel free to support or vote down whoever you wish to . . . sometime your decisions will be affected by what others are doing at that moment.

And voting a character down is more effective that voting a character up.
When a character reaches 20, it can't go any further, but it's still ripe for voting down.

When a character reaches 0 points, there's nothing further that can be done.

It's so that others can see who you're committed to and decide to support or reject your favorite character in payback for this game and past games. Just voting down is like cheating, because you can say who you thought would win, but it exposes you as right or wrong; just game psychology.
