Thor is most impressing, his lightning was massive, took out Loki and his illusions in an area of attack and he showed some blitz feats, flew through the head of that big monster, dodged and flew away from the Destroyers visor, also caused that shattering earthquake when he dropped the hammer in Jotunheim. His damage soak is insane, took hits from Ironman like nothing and even soaked damage from an enraged Hulk in hand to hand.
and Mjolnir seems to withstand anything

He's a man with experience and that is where YOU are wrong, my friend. She stopped time and then killed him by separating his atoms! She continued to do that through the X3.

At no point in any of the three X-men movies did Jean Grey stop time.

Speaking of which you can add Hawkeye as another member capable of taking out several Xmen at once if ignored, ditto Black Widow, its quite possible both get overlooked in favor of the rage destruction engine and Norse God of Thunder raining hell on them.

...oh my head. No he did not stop time, for cripes sakes. He telepathically froze everyone in the immediate area except Rogue, Pyro, and Bobby. Time stopping is not now nor has it ever been in any of the various Professor X incarnation's power sets.

Nobody stopped time in the X-men movies.

    Ever.

    Nobody had time manipulation powers.

That was all any of us said from the beginning. We explained the feats, and explained why that meant that no incarnation of movie X-types stood a chance. Certain others (mostly, um, you...) decided to add 13 extra pages of arguments as to why Jean somehow changed the odds up from zero.

The problem is, she doesn't. She has zero-point-zero feats for surviving Hulk or Thor and zero-point-zero chance of hurting either of them. That should have been the end of the thread.

Now, if all we want is to discuss whether she has a chance against Iron Man, that's a vastly different question. I would call that a quickdraw somewhat favoring Stark. From 100 feet, she cannot instantly destroy Stark - she has no feats for that at all. Her ranged destruction is not instant, not even once in the film. And if IM gets a shot off, he has a number of definite one-shot kills that are far faster than anything Jean has feats for stopping.

So, here is one way the fight could go: Jean and Tony appear. Jean preps and launches her wave of disintegration. Stark fires his "cuts through anything beam". Jean is cut in half, while the paint and maybe some of Stark's armor systems cook a bit.

Here is another way: Jean and Tony appear. Jean preps and launches her wave of disintegration. Stark fires his missiles and repulsors. Jean's wave explodes presumably delicate missiles, and, despite never affecting anything at 100 feet of range this quickly, damages something in the repulsor firing mechanism before they fully cycle. Now Stark probably dies.

So, I'd give Stark the advantage in most cases because he fires that laser much faster than Jean destroys things at 100 foot range. She MIGHT occasionally get lucky under certain circumstances, but that laser is pretty badass and she has absolutely no way to stop it.

No, b/c when she lefted him out of the chair the fighting had already stopped. It was only Jean, Pro X and Logan.

She didn't stop time when she killed Xavier. That was pretty much done for dramatic effect, like how sometimes when you have scenes in movies in slow motion..it doesn't mean people suddenly started moving at super speed.

A woman can move a lot faster with her skirt up than a man can with his pants down.
