Putting aside the fact that Green Lantern wasn't particularly good.....there's no Flash movie, there's no Wonder Woman movie, and Bale is done playing Batman.

So yeah, reasonably speaking, even a "fast track" would be pretty damned slow in this case.

does anybody want that though? the idea of having to sit through those movies just to build up seems horrible. I maintain that while avengers is awesome, thor is just ok, and captain america was mediocre at best. I don't see either of those movies standing up over time. DC just needs to do a batman/superman/wonder woman maybe others movie if MoS is any good. and pay bale to jsut do it.

While I am a fan of DC comics, the movies are usually terrible. What is Marvel doing that they arent?

Doubtful. I believe WB is already on record saying specifically they would not do a JLA movie because people would think they were 'copying' Marvel's approach.

To do a JLA movie, you need these things to happen:
    A successful Superman movie
    A successful Batman reboot
At least two other fairly successful DC movies

I don't think that Batman fans - specifically - would take to a reboot that would likely 'soften' him up somehow to make him fit in with the rest of the Leaguers. Plus, by the time DC'd pull a JLA project out Marvel will have other successful movies in the meantime. For example, a Defenders movie may have not been in the cards, but now with what seems to be a succesful portrayal of the Hulk in the Avengers movie (which I haven't seen yet!) it now looks possible. I mean, Defenders. And DC is still undecided on JLA it seems.

Hopefully, MOS becomes a beacon when it drops. Batman is sweating bullets. lol

Well, I may be crazy, but I'm not a believer that every superhero movie needs to be the origin - just give me a good, solid, exciting movie. So, if they started with JL (say something along the lines of the JL cartoon), just run with the momentum (assuming it doesn't flop) and make good, solid, exciting solo movies for WW, Flash, etc.
