Too much. Loeb just takes cribnotes and ignores prior characterization and plot developments. He doesn't play well with others.

I know Dini writes for the show. What I'm trying to convey is that it's almost impossible to notice.
As much as I hate defending Loab, but can we blame him for Pym and Wasp? Ultimate Pym was already pretty much an absolute douchebag, and Loab didn't actually write that much of him. It was mostly Ultron posing as Pym. And the Wasp becoming white is really more on the artist.

Have you seen the sky?! Loeb made the moon RED! Should we blame the artist for that as well???

I guess it makes sense to cancel an amazingly loved show for a show that will most likely suck butt. Smart move Loeb.

I cannot believe Janet chastisizing Cap for not getting twins screwing because he's OLD got past editorial. I mean WTFH? The incest I can deal with... because it was due to deep psychological trauma. It was sad and pathetic, but that's Quicksilver. Making it ACCEPTABLE was so screwed up I can't even. What. Just what.

And that wasn't even the worst thing he did in his arc, nor the grossest (I still cannot unsee The Blob). How screwed up is that?

Loeb has a talent for taking an interesting concept, throwing out all the interesting parts, adding some crazy, and shaking hard. Then he vomits it into a comic.

Well, we don't know what the setup for The Avengers is going to be. It might be more episodic and serialized than even EMH. At this point, all we know is that there WILL be a new series, not what it will be.

To a degree though, I suppose they might simply want a cartoon that basically syncs up with the movie version of the Avengers better.

If that's the case (and obviously I don't know that it is), then I do see some level of practicality to it.

I LOVE the current Avengers cartoon, and will be sad to see it go. But as long as it's ending didn't blindside the people making it and they're able to give the cartoon a good ending, I'm okay with that.

That was so hilariously stupid. I love the panel where she says "It's more than that. They're in love" and she looks so....happy and touched by it. I think most of us shared Hawkeye's reaction of "No, stupid. It's gross." Also, I liked how Wasp tore Cap's head off for protesting her viciously abusive/traitorous/criminally incompetent husband returning to the team.

I mean, I like some of Loeb's work, even these days, but Ultimates 3 was just...baffling.

God, I hope this is not true. If it is Hank and Wasp will probably never show up. Also it would have dumb-Hulk. And Tony would be a big jerk like he was in Ultimate Spider-Man.

    Avengers: EMH>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Ultimate Sucky Spider-Man
Nightcrawler, Jean Grey, Gwen Stacy, Peter Parker, Professor X, Mar-Vell, Richard Rider- Bring Them Back!!!

Know what I find strange about that whole thing (well, not the only thing)? Why did Cap not realize this? Did we invent incest in the 60 years he was frozen? I know it wasn't common back then, but it takes him a really long time to get what Wasp is saying, and he still doesn't seem to understand. I've seen movies and crap from that time. They were far from innocent and free of that sort of stuff.

I think he's used to this strange concept of it being illegal, so if someone finds out about it, they don't mention it, much less complain that someone finds it weird... lol
I kept expecting Jan to be outed as an alcoholic skrull. But instead... Ultimatum. Which at least cut down on the incest.... I hope.

I did love Loeb for one thing... he had Wanda give one of Tony's robotic manservants the Eye while hanging off her brother's arm. Now THAT would have been AMAZING. Traumatizing, but amazing.

EDIT: I guess making Avengers movie-compliant is nice... but am I the only one who finds the movie roster not that awesome? I don't get Agent Coulson. PLEASE don't spoil me though I'm gonna go see it on Tuesday when bf is done with his flu. :(

I just want more esoteric Avengers showing up in animated form...

    Say it aint so Marvel!

EMH IS FANTASTIC! Its how my niece and nephew became superhero fans.. Not just any superhero fans MARVEL superhero fans. They can tell you more about Giant-Man and Wasp, than they can Batman... because of this show! And they are YOUNG 4 and 5. Avengers EMH is introducing an entire world of kids to Marvel Superheroes every saturday, the same way I was introduced to the DCAU shows, and Spider-Man and X-men as a kid. And its not just popular with kids. Adults love it and will sit down and watch it WITH children, pushing them to enjoy it as well. That creates fans that will last a life time.

Please don't get rid of this show. You literally can't do better than Avengers EMH, its right up there with the best DC animated programs. You had a pair of 6 sided dice and you rolled a 12, Do you really want to reroll your dice and try again?
