I don't think he's ever expressed that attitude, he always seems happy that other people are writing his characters. And he even recommended Tomasi in an interview a while ago (either IGN or CBR, I think); he said he was into the Batman And Robin series.

I agree, I'm more referencing the mentality some fans seem to have. I've definitely seen people on here express the desire for Morrison to kill off Damian just because they feel protective and worried no one will ever be able to do him justice.

It was only partially hyperbole. I can't think of a single panel in Snyder's book that I have enjoyed nearly as much as this one with Damian beating up the mutants.

I know DC has pretty much given Morrison free reign to date, but I really question whether they would allow him to kill Damian, given his popularity and potential to make money for them.

Besides, if they kill off Damian, who knows what the new replacement Robin will be like.

Maybe even Kitrina Falcone?

Hey, I love Inc as much as the next guy - more, actually - but that doesn't mean the main Batman title hasn't been a great read. I'm starting to think some readers have pretty small attention spans or don't have the patience to handle a bit of 'world-building' on a title.
