Robin (Damian Wayne) would be good since he is still a kid, Supergirl also because she just arrived on earth and needs to know more about her abilitites, Blue Beetle has the same problem and I'm srue they going to be introducing more superteens along the way.
By the way, I love the current Teen Titans book but I'm all for more diversity of titles.
Comic Books are fun, Comic Book fans not so much.
I loved those issues of thr old YJ book where almost every teen hero joined together,i would love a book with the teen hero community in mass.
I do like the idea of two teams though also, one being trained and chaperoned by the JL,and another feeling they dont need a babysitter, and are quite capable of being heroes without the JLs intervention.
Teen titans and young justice league
I would love a book where every single teen hero could show up in,even if they are in the background just doijg a hero pose.
Dont mess with the "S"
Don't crush my dreams! All the problems you mention are minor. New origins are common, changes of paternity nearly as much (the YJ group writers don't seem to think that changing Rose Wilson's parentage is a big deal, the way they hint about it every interview she's mentioned). So Impulse could easily appear. Static and Blue Beetle would both come from failed books (if BB doesn't have his book cancelled this year I'd be very surprised) but whatever inconveniences happened there can be quietly forgotten. Miss Martian was on that page in TT #1, so she exists. Kara can learn English sooner or later and Steph still has enough fans to exist. Completely unmentioned thus far, but I gather a few more people like her now post-Leviathan Strikes. Starring in the best one-shot all year does that. Damian being chucked into the Titans happened pre-DCnU, a similar storyline could well happen now. I see no problems. Apart from BQM being taken. There are dozens of free writers capable atm.
Its sad that "no gratuitous violence" has to be mentioned for a book these days.
Oh and ascended, I think Holmes is a Skrull because he mysteriously has an opinion that isn't exactly the same as mine. A rare thing. I don't think you are a Skrull. Maybe a Chitauri. Movie tie in and all that jazz.
I think it would be pretty easy to create a YJ set in the DCnu and I've been saying DC should do it for a long time. The current Teen Titans is just not doing it for me and it's weird that DC isn't doing more to attract fans of the cartoon to comics. One all-ages book isn't enough, IMO.
They should Dick the mentor of the team, Damian as the Robin (this would be a great way to keep the Dick and Damian duo alive), reintroduce Aqualad and move Bart, Cassie and Superboy to this team.
Oh, and make Cassie more like the YJ version. I really hate Lobdell's version.
Teen Titans could still be Tim's team, he doesn't really need more training. Add Static and other young heroes that aren't connected to older characters. Keep Bunker and Solstice, get rid of Skitter.
Teams would be more or less like this:
YOUNG JUSTICE - sidekicks being trained by the League
Nightwing
Robin (Damian)
Superboy
Wonder Girl
Kid Flash (Bart)
Aqualad
and Artemis (if DC hadn't killed her for shock value ;/)
TEEN TITANS - this team would be independent, no sidekicks (Tim being the exception)
Red Robin (Tim)
Blue Beetle (I'd prefer him here than in YJ, he's not really connected to the JL)
Traci 13
Bunker
Solstice
Static
Top 3: Batman, Wonder Woman, X-force
Or here's a though and keepthe Titans team the same and hhave the young justice thing being something different. No reason to break up the titan team when they seem to be a good fit.
Dc: Action Comics/Animal Man/Swamp Thing/Earth-2/Green Arrow/Batman/Threshold/Batwoman/Justice League/Green Lantern/Teen Titans/Superman/Justice League Dark/I,Vampire.
If Im not a Skrull can I be a Kree instead?
I think if this were to take place the purpose would be to bring the show's fans into the comic. So you have to keep the roster somewhat similar. Not completely identical, but close enough for government work.
So you'd have to have *a* Robin, Superboy, Kid Flash, Miss Martian, and Aqualad and Artemis if editorial will allow it, then flesh it out a bit with some other members like Static or whoever works. So long as the core cast remains you have some wiggle room with the rest. I dont see why Beetle or Bumblebee or Beast Boy would need to be included, or any of the other newbies from this new season. Wouldnt hurt but isnt a must-have and you still need to keep some teen heroes around for Titans. Using Nightwing as a mentor would be nice, maybe with a couple others like Cyborg or whoever. Like I said, you dont have to follow the show exactly, just enough to get the attention of its fans.
....If it funny enough?
That and more endearing.
I forgot to mention Miss Martian, she should also be on the team, but I don't know how they'd do it. I'm not sure the DCnu League would want anyone associated with Martian Manhunter.
Top 3: Batman, Wonder Woman, X-force
Wave 3 hits. DC announce "Young Justice League". The New 52 version of the animated series Young Justice. No relation to the actual universe of the animated series, and in the New 52 universe. The book also has a different style than Teen Titans. And with the word "Young" in the title, that means that young people can be part of the team, not just only teens. A 25 year old could be on the team, because that is still young. The team is led by Nightwing, and has the closest thing to the invasion story roster of the animated series, without borrowing from other team books.
So you are going to put editors in their place? Because that is who keeps ruining Static. He has yet to be in a book not hampered by a bad writer or editor since 2009. He was a mess in his own book and right now no one wants to touch him. Now for the rest it would be easy like you if those editors allow a writer to bring them along.
Static's last issue had Miss Martian in it too implying that Terror Titans did happen. In fact that book implied a lot to Teen Titan history was still around.
Well it's hard to do that when most of the team in on TT and we still don't don't if a writer could be allowed to use Rockett and the others from the show. The current Teen Titans is just not doing it for me and it's weird that DC isn't doing more to attract fans of the cartoon to comics. One all-ages book isn't enough, IMO.
