Default Should Young Justice be adapted into the new 52?

Honestly, even though I was defending Lobdell's Teen Titans, it's hit me that the Culling arc in Teen Titans annual pretty much pales in comparison to what Weisman and co. are doing right now with Young Justice Invasion. Not only is the story better, but it utilizes so many characters, half of whom have been benched in the comics.

Kind of like how we have Justice League International and Justice League Dark, I think Young Justice would work as a team in the DCU. Cyborg can be the link to the Justice League team, and Nightwing can be director and mentor. You can have the current Teen Titans line-up as one squad, and then have other squads that can use Static, Beetle, etc.

No I would hate if DC did this to be honest Young Justice is earth 16 keep it its own universe. Not that I really care for Lobdells Titans either so its really a lose lose situation

I don't want to see that myself. I like YJ on Earth 16 and I am enjoying the show but I don't think they should shoehorn it into the comics even if that would improve Teen Titans or give those of us that are a bit disappointed in TT another option. DC is already adding another Teen team in the Ravangers in any case so I think it would be a bit redundant.

TBH, if it weren't for Grant Morrison books and the Dark line, Young Justice would give me little reason to read DC comics.

I don't think he meant port the Earth 16 Young Justice to Prime Earth, but have a Justice League sidebook that included some sidekicks, some other heroes, and have the title be something a little more lighthearted. I think I'd like that.

Sidekicks? They still have sidekicks (besides Robin) in the 21st century?

Somewhat. I was using the term sidekicks lightly; there's Aqualad, Supergirl, et al that still aren't on Teen Titans. Speedy, Spoiler; there are a good few characters that could be applied here.

Honestly, I'd rather they somehow brought the old Young Justice comic book title back. There are plenty of books in the DCnU that have the same tone as the Young Justice show. What they don't have is an action-comedy book.

Actually, IMO, the current DC universe should be expunged and replaced with the YJ cartoon universe. It's better in the long run ...

For me, most of the time those kind of books are executed poorly. Exceptions being Giffen's JLI and Miller's Batgirl.

Meh, i've had enough of serious business teams. And despite all the awesomeness, YJ is pretty serious business.

I'd rather get a teen team book where the team is just friends teaming up and beating up bad guys, traveling around the world and generally hanging out. A roster like this would be great.
