I actually prefer Simonson's panels to Bradshaw's, though I'm glad Bradshaw's overly cartoony faces are getting tuned down a bit. Art, as ever, is a subjective medium.

Following up on another Marvel mainstay who's been off to the side for a big, Prince Of Orphans asked: "Are there any upcoming plans for Ghost Rider in the works?"

Alonso: Nope. I love “Ghost Rider,” but right now the last series just wound to a close.

    This makes me very sad.

It's pretty unfortunate but the franchise crashed kind of hard given the cancellation of the book and the movie not really being hugely successful.

Just hug and caress your Jason Aaron written comics/collections in the mean time.

I think the qualitative issues didn't help. The movie sucked and the book wasn't very good either (and was written by a complete unknown....how well did Marvel really expect that to go?) and starred a brand-new Ghost Rider who also happened to be fairly one-note and unlikable.

If they'd made the book about good ol' Johnny Blaze as Ghost Rider and had Rick Remender write it, while it still might not have lit the sales charts on fire, it'd most likely have done a hell of a lot better than Williams' book (and also probably been a much better comic).

I don't think Hawkeye & Black Widow's "human perspective" has anything to do with them replacing Ant-Man & Wasp in the film; both characters have been getting big pushes from Marvel for years while Pym has been relegated to supporting roles and Jan was wallpaper up until her death...

If the Marvel has ONE female solo title at this point, it should be Widow.

......they even have Greg Rucka on their roster.....
    Does seem like a no-brainer, doesn't it?

Whedon's been on since April of 2010 and he did the script.

I think the Ant Man movie by Edgar Wright still not being done, might have had something to do with it. That or maybe Wright is doing Eric O'Grady Ant-man and they didn't want it to be confusing.

Really sad to learn there's nothing planned for GHOST RIDER..
The last mini was actually a hard-mess, which makes me think the character is risking to fall a little time in oblivion, but maybe to come back stronger (see MOONKNIGHT, Bendis and Maleev aren't the worse you could wish to a Marvel character for a "come-back")..

Loved WEREWOLF BY NIGHT' cameo into X-FACTOR (PAD and Yardin would be great for an ongoing about him), MAYBE this is what GHOST RIDER needs too ? One or two strong appearances.. He would blast with DEFENDERS IMHO..

    and..
