Yes to the first part
2nd part. They did the Black Cauldron. Not sure if it was good or not. And some of the really old toons like Snow White and Phinn Pin,,The Wooden Doll movie and Fantasia(the orginal) had some good scary in it.
and the 3rd part. Yes. Your the only one.

It was alright -- it's biggest problem was it wasn't Kolchak -- it was a revamp of "The X-Files" PRETENDING to be a "Kolchak" remake.

And really -- for all the talk about the Vampire part of Kolchak the Vampire in the first TV movie didn't even really speak a line of dialogue nor was he actually seen that much. The story was Kolchak's not the vampire's.

If Depp can play it straight....er..... rather than weird I could see him actually being a pretty good Carl Kolchak. That sort of world-weary guy who always wanted to break a big story and be taken seriously and never managed it but who still can't let go of the truth.
