this looks nice,it seems the only ppl that can give SB a good fight are those immune to TK...or bat or wilson characters.
Dont mess with the "S"
This book started out really interesting. It's become generic now.
hey superlad,he didnt do bad at all against kara either, and he wasnt even trying.
holmes, yeah the culling thing has "stunted" its growth imo to,but its still good, and issue 10 he looks to start his new life, and gets the tattoo, and brett booth said SB "might" be getting a new supersuit in issue 11.crossovers always are nice, because you get to see characters interacting, but they are bad also cause it stops the momentum the book was having for it.

She didn't even know how to use he powers (including her new one). She's had a day (maybe) of time with them. Where as he's had months of metahuman combat training. I'd say if it were to keep going he'd have trouble for sure.
Also question? If his inalienability is going to be "golden age" level.....then how does he get a tattoo? Also to add inconsistency to injury: if he has such a good healing factor then how does he keep a tattoo? Bottom line is if he gets this it means that something can hurt him and hurt him forever...dum dum dum!! We if the message from mr Lobdell you said you read is true then he gets it from a night on the town with Bunker? So a random tattoo place is his kryptonite lol
I'm just kidding (sorta not really though lol) but that is something to think about.
Also side note: Hey stephens did you know that Superboy in YJ is stuck at 16 forever? They say that because he is a clone he is stuck at that age forever (maybe to simulate the seemingly immoral lives of solar power kryptonians) Maybe they were going to let him loss at 30 or something originally. I actually really like this development.

Currently reading far too many comics to list (mostly DC/Vertigo), despite the best hope of my parents that I'd outgrow comics by the time I turned 50.
Still looking more forward to this event being over than the actual event itself, but the Annual made me a tad more interested so hopefully this issue builds on that. Can't wait to getting back to focus on just Superboy though, and continuing the mystery of his donors. Still don't have a problem with DeFalco's writing. Its not as good as Lobdell's, but not bad.
if SB can handle a kara blitz attack, then he isnt gonna have as mucb trouble as you think when he goes all out,and actually wants to fight.
the tattoo could be of his own doing,as in getting it put there, then memtally keeping it from going away.idk really how it will happen,i hope scotts explanation is good, cause of not everyone will poince on that real quick.
of course i know about his aging problem, you need to get over to the threads about the YJ show,im all over this lol.i like it too,for many reasons like getting him at tim and cassies age, keeping him pissed and angsty(which ppl love lol),and man when they do fix his age thing the payoff for crazy SB fans like me will be insanely great.
hey brett saying SB might be getting a new supersuit(and yes a suit, not plain clothes) in issue 11 is something i hope will happen, and i hope we see on the issue 11 solicit in a week or two.btw brett said the new suit will show off SBs tattoo,BUT its not the outfit he was wearing on the cover to teen titans #1.
oh and you guys need to get on twitter and ask him and scott questions yourself,im there,i need the backup lol.
Dont mess with the "S"
Haven't really seen anything that would let me think that he could take her as easy as you think. If she had the time with her power that Superboy had and the two for fighting for real I sure you'd question the outcome more than you do now. Also her speed kills his as we saw in the issue and her senses kill his as well as we also saw in the issue.
But whatever, we saw a stalemate either way.
What would be the point of getting a tattoo of a something you don't understand.....*Superlad holds for a second and remembers that he has dumb friends that do that all the time..sigh..teens* he's not like other teens right? Really I don't think his durability is that good so I think it works for him to get it, but what about his healing? I really think it's gonna be done by something that can hurt him forever.
speed didnt stop him fighting kara, and it didnt stop him fighting bart.his senses are still limited to his knowledge of what he can do with them.
i would rather they just be equals.
i dont see his durability being that great, more his healing factor.
we might be thinking to normal tattoo, maybe he gets one by magic or nano tech,OR holy shit, maybe he gets a new supersuit with the same tech superman has in his,and his suit shrinks down into the tattoo,ok i like that.that way he stays in plain clothes, looks casual, then it comes out and becomes a kick ass suit.
Dont mess with the "S"
Where would he get such a suit? And where would he get the tech? It would just be dumb if he was allowed to have the same suit as everyone else. Krypton was destroyed remember, and the last suit belongs to Superman. Plus the last of Krypton tech belongs to Superman as well. And for everyone who wants Superboy to keep his distance from Superman and be his own guy but "oh I mean hey it's cool if he bums a super suit right?" No. The are making Superman and Supergirl's suits out to be something special to them (Superman as a last peace of his homeland and Supergirl an honor that she thinks that she isn't ready for)
It would cheapen the idea of them stating time and time again that they "wanted Superman's suit to mean something special this time around" he has no real stake or in story reason or right to have one. Nobody in the new 52 has as much a focus on the hero's actual suit than Superman, and that is intentional and should not be cheapened at all.
now if he gets a suit from Static after he takes a look at his powers or whatever that compress into the tattoo (for whatever reason) then I'd have no problem with that.
