Kaine can now talk to spiders
end of spoilers deus ex machina.

But all in all, still an A+ in my book!
He's been able to do that since Spider Island hasn't he?

Great issue, only I, unlike most, did not like the art too much. Kaine looked too skinny, and his arms looked disproportionally tiny in some frames. I guess I'm just going to really miss Stegman on this.

Well, I guess that's what happens when you murder your girlfriend - she had it coming, admittedly, but still...

Also: Peter had the ability to talk to spiders after his rebirth at the hands of the Queen in her introductory arc, but apparently doesn't have it anymore. Kaine seems to have acquired it as well.

How come Daisy Johnson is Director of SHIELD and Nick Fury is black in 616? What did I've missed?

The black Nick Fury is Fury's illegitimate son named Marcus something, it's revealed at the end of Battle Scars #6 that his birth name is Nick Fury Jr.

I'm largely ambivalent to him. I will give Marvel credit for how they introduced him without erasing the adventures of the original Fury.

Welp...it was okay. I love how the cover and the main plot is the bomb but the bomb isn't even an issue. Kind of silly really. Kind of why i didn't recommend it in my reviews. Oh well.

I"m not saying it wasn't. I'm just saying it didn't seem to be the main point. First off he stopped it so easily it was silly, and second that wasn't the biggest moment. It was one panel. The spiders and iron man got more play.

The whole plot was to find the bomb

I know, but it only got one panel. Plus it was too easy to disarm. The spiders and iron man got more focus I thought.
