I've switched over to 100% digital and I love it. If you have a tablet you've GOT to try it, and even if you only have a computer or smart phone I'd give it a shot.

DC have not confirmed pricing but I think their weekly digital series are usually 99 cents for 20-ish pages. But the "pages" are horizontally aligned and only contain a few panels so it's shorter than your standard comic. But for 99 cents it's a good deal.

You can read about this in the interviews / articles I linked, but the format will be a few series to establish each main character, and then they all eventually team up together. Palmiotti and Gray essentially said that if a character has been created as a figurine, they will more than likely show up somewhere in the series.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm still one of those paranoid dolts that's too nervous to put my finances online, though, so I'll have to wait for the hopeful eventual printing of the books. I know I know... get with the times... Suppose I just can't escape that yesteryear state-of-mind. I certainly do appericate the info though, and the pics! I've only seen a few of the anime-DC characters. I own the Catwoman one, but those things can get pricey, lest in my part of the world. Worth it though, totally cool.

I buy iTunes cards and pay for my comics with them, which Comixology accepts (but you will need an iTunes account, of course). No credit card required. I have always purchased them directly from my iPad or iPhone, so I'm not sure if it works on a non-Apple device, but it's something to think about if you're holding out due to the payment options.

My phone is anchient by today's standard (doesn't even have a browser opition), but it's been said my comp would work for this right? If that's the case, I really need to look into setting something up to get some access to what looks like will be an A+++ series.

Can I used my iTunes account to pay on the web?
Our Comics app for iOS will use your default payment information with your iTunes account. You won't need to make any changes to use our app.

However, our website at comiXology.com does not use your iTunes account for purchasing. Once you use your credit card to make a purchase, if you'd like, we can store that info for future purchases.

Hopefully they will eventually put out a print version...if the book is successful they probably will.

I see no reason why it wouldn't. You'd just need an itunes account, and I'm pretty sure Comixology is browser-based so you would be able to read them online on your computer.
