Was she not just recently one of the candidates listed by the Eye of Agamotto worthy enough to be Sorcerer Supreme? It should not be that much of a stretch to believe that she may be near Strange in power level. Couple that with the fact that she was fighting him in her own realm, with the full power of her soul I don't think it's that farfetched. He may have had more of a chance with some against her minions.

If Magik can beat a powerhouse like Strange ( I suspect the Soul Sword played a huge role since it basically cancels spells and kills magical beings. demons, gods and mages)she has no business losing to the Black Widow. She has depowered the enchantress with a simple gesture and has recently depowered an army of dire wraith witches in Limbo. She is quite the powerhouse herself. Whoever won this fight could potentially solo most of the avengers or the x-men (since Thor is missing)

Regarding Magik facing Widow outside Limbo, this is still a massive stomp. Outside from her obvious teleportation powers, she has displayed that she can still use quite a number of spells. She beat up on a team of new x-men. She displayed magical blasts that ripped through super strong Rockslide, Control of Hellfire that ko'd pixie with the soul dagger and beat mercury (a being composed of liquid metal) by just creating a spell that simply ripped her apart. She also has show that she can conjure up magical sheilds and she can heal herself. She also created a magical barrier that prevented Kitty from phasing through. Now you can add illusions to the list.

She also has enchanted armor that can withstand blows from demons who can break adamantium, bullets, lasers and magical blasts. She has also teleported in demons pets to attack her opponents before. In her demon form she can go toe to toe with super strong demons. She isn't just a magic user, she is a proficient weapons expert and melee fighter as well. ( she's great with a battle axe)

The battle between Widow and Magik seem to take place on the moon. I have no idea why Magik didn't just simply port away and leave her there. Widow probably has the super power to reduce the i.q. levels of her opponents to single digits.

It went as expected, Dr. Strange isn't exactly at his strongest and Magik is pretty capable so I don't have much to complain about.

At another point in time Dr. Strange probably would have beat her though.

Another PLACE and time would likely have had different results, she was ready and waiting for him to fall into her trap, and she is not dumb enough to "play with her food".

Magik used her feminine wiles to distract him, because we all know how he like um young, then pow!

I suspect it ended with nookie, and in a few months well be introduced to strangemagik who was artifically aged in limbo within one comic panel.

    Make love, not war!

Still doesn't explain why he was unconscious at the end of it.... or DOES it?

I'm just gonna assume this is how the fight went down. Commission by JJ Kirby today at Free Comic Book Day.

Yup. She has lots of allies there. He is no longer as strong as he once was (hope that changes.) She looks like a kid. Doc fell to emotions (fighting a little girl?) She has touches of a real killer instinct. He might not have known that.
Namor is King! Killraven too. Mantis is the greatest!

Shatterstar is gay. Deadpool is Bi.

She is a killer, not just a kid with the instinct for It. The sweet young thing is a hell-lord.

    An adorable one.

I don't think she is irreversible.
