I just don't take it from recent books that Scott was able to move on with Emma because Jean Grey fudged with his mind or gave him the will to or whatever.
I think that's a pretty feasible assumption. No, it's not specifically referenced and one can't just assume a retcon. But I get this idea that KG is portraying Scott as a much more self-determined guy, not someone whose guiding principles are based on psychic manipulation.
True. Wolverine wouldn't know that. All he'd know was that Scott cheated on Jean and then made out with his mistress on her still warm grave.

I had a pet chicken once (Pickit) who I found on the way home from school as it had escaped from a farm nearby. That fucker grew to be the size of a bulldog (I kid you not). We also had 2 rottweilers and one day they broke into the coop we had Pickit in.
