Will The Avengers Be One Of The 10 Best Comic Book Movies of All Time?

All the reviews are coming in with glowing praise and I don't think I could be more excited (I just had my 8 year old watch Thor, Cap and Iron Man 2 just to be ready) but where will this one rank? Maybe its because I am old, but I still think Tim Burton's Batman was the best (didn't try to be too real, none of this stuff could really happen in our world, stop trying to make us believe it could) but I know I am in the minority. Here is the rest of my top ten:

I am hoping that its awesome,and a lot of the early reviews seem to make a strong case not only for it to be one of the ten best comicbook movies but might actual be the best.

It's my no1. My top 5 changes though, it's definitely staying in my top 5. And so far it's one of the most critically acclaimed action movies ever.

Will it CURRENTLY be in the "Top 10 Best Comic Book Movies"? Of course. Will it forever be in there? Who knows? But it will probably stay in the "Top 10" for a LONG TIME... partly because, truthfully... most comic book movies (while enjoyable) aren't works of art. I'm not sure I could name TEN "great" comic book movies to begin with (by which I mean "truly great films"). Even reaching into films based on a comic book (not necessarily superheroes)... hmmmmm...

Not sure it isn't the best "comic book" movie of all time right now. It's pretty good.

It will be viewed as one of the Top 5 super heroes movie ever made i would say.
The best one i dont know,i just watched it one time so far.But just after watching it once i can say that i would not be surprised if the Avengers movie was seen as the best super hero movie ever made.

We have really been lucky recently. X-Men II, Iron Man I, Dark Knight were all incredible movies just in the past decade. Burton's Batman and Superman I would be the other two in my top 5 (in no particular order). If Avengers is better than any of them I would be happy.
