In the Raimi films Mary Jane come off as a loose combination of Liz Allen and MJ.

This movie has a Gwenn who is gwen in name only it seems. It's not the same relationship if Gwen already knows Pete is spider-man and that's no small thing story wise. That being said...

I loved this trailer and I am glad it's in front of the avengers, the previouse trailers gave me little reason to want of see this movie and now I cannot wait. Hoping upon Hope that doc Connors the man isn't a villain it will be strange for there to be a sympathetic doc ock to have hit the big screen and an evil Doc Connors to hit.

Take the emo from Twilight, mix in the special effects of Transformers, and add in a dash of far too soon remake and you've got the UnAmazing TranTwiSpiderman.

Seriously though this trailer made me even less excited for this movie and I didn't think that possible. Maybe I'll be wrong, I was certainly wrong about X-men First Class, but right now I couldn't care less about seeing this.

Avengers and Dark Knight Rises though . . . I'm beyond excited for both.
Price your book at $3.99 and I'll trade wait. Make me wait too long for the trade PAPERback and I'll say screw it. I'm looking at you Marvel and Spider Island.

So many things wrong with this statement but you're entitled to you opinion.

I'm not even sure where you're getting this Transformers mumbo jumbo from.

You may have something with it being too soon yet nobody complained about it being too soon for Hulk to reboot which had the same 5-year gap between films.

And sure, let's pretend like Peter Parker never angsts in the comics. Let's ignore that this Spider-man is actually cracking wise.

Really liking the look of this movie and the use of color, kind of reminds me of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World and Enter The Void.

The action looked good. I'm not a big fan of tying all of this into the death of his parents and the conspiracy of someone causing Peter to become Spiderman. But I will take a wait and see attitude.

I have to agree to be honest. There's just nothing in that trailer that makes me want to see this movie, (and I loved the first two Raimi films). I don't want to over-analyze it to death but I just feel "meh" when I watch that. I hope it's awesome but as of right now I doubt I will even go to see it.
