Hello my little Spideys. Stan Lee shared a link on my facebook. It has something to do with a minor event in summer, you may have heard of it.

I know people are going to get into about this but...
"Ugh..."
And one of the biggest things is the emphasis on Peter's parents. I strongly dislike the subtext of this. There is more emphasis on Peter not having parents than on Aunt May (to say nothing of Uncle Ben). There are many people who are not raised by their biological parents but that doesn't mean their bond is any weaker for it.
Still don't like George Stacy as Anti-Spidey cop. Doesn't feel like George. (This is a problem with not having Jonah in your movie.)
(I also dislike the costume.)
The monster saved them all. And in their fear, they betrayed him. As they always have. As they always will.

Okay, having just seen the new trailer, here are my pluses and minuses:
spoilers:end of spoilers
+The web-slinging looks terrific, no doubt about that. And it looks like we are going to get more POV shots of Spidey web-slinging to boot.
+The "small knives" wisecrack really was funny, thus reaffirming that this film really got that aspect of Spidey right.
+And FINALLY, a shot of Spidey in the daytime!
+Is that shadowy figure talking to Curt Connors actually...NORMAN OSBORN!
-Did anyone else think the opening voice-over sounded WAY TOO similar to Peter's "The one's I love will always pay" monologue from the first movie? Not to mention the scene of him holding the burning car also seemed a bit too similar to where he was holding the skyline car in the first film.
-Peter Parker: X-TREME SKATEBOARDER! Although, I suppose that's how he'll initially test his new-found powers.
-They're really, REALLY implying that Peter's dad was the one who created the radioactive/genetically-altered spider, aren't they? Because having the titular hero's dad be responsible for giving them super-powers worked SO well in Ang Lee's Hulk movie.
-And it looks like were getting more scenes of Peter doing Spidey stuff while unmasked. Which, correct me if I'm wrong, wasn't that a big complaint about the Raimi films?

Why aren't you reading Winter Soldier? You should be!
Ok. I'll admit that the CGI still isn't seamless, but they do a fantastic job capturing the way Spider-man moves there.
