Default Why can't Nolan's Batman be used in a JLA movie?

I honestly don't get why Nolan's Batman can't be brought into a Justice League movie. Yeah, he's grounded in realism and people say Nolan's Batman couldn't fit into the larger DCU with all of the fantastical characters like Superman, but...isn't it that way in the comics? To me, one of the beauties of the DCU has always been that a "low" fantasy character like Batman has been allowed to coexist with "high" fantasy characters like Superman and GL. IMO, you'd just need to tone down some of those "high-fantasy" elements for a movie. One of Green Lantern's weaknesses was that it appeared too cartoonish with all the CGI utilized. I think that could have been fixed if they had changed that by having the Guardians be portrayed by live actors, not done by CGI and had some of the Oan environment actually be real sets, not CGI constructed landscapes. I mean, even in the comics, when a GL appears before the Guardians, they appear in a closed metallic "board-room", not a mountain citadel. It appears that Marvel tends to tone down their fantastical elements from the comics, while DC believes that they should make them more grandiose (at least with GL).

I think if Man of Steel is as good as I hope (knock on wood), then DC should really consider combining Nolan's Batman with Nolan and Snyder's Superman. Potential JLA and World's Finest movies would be incredible.

What do you guys think? Can't we use Nolan's Batman in a JLA or World's Finest movie?

P.S. I don't know if there's thread on this topic already. sorry if there is.

Because Nolan's Batman would be useless. He isn't a genius in multiple fields like he is in the comics, in fact, he's pretty stupid and naive. And he fights like a drunken uncle at a wedding.

Also because it's super serious and gritty and outlandish superheroes are stupid!

Nolan's Batman is so detestably grounded in "realness" that not even Robin or Batgirl are allowed to exist in this universe, let alone a kryptonian powerhouse or a warrior Amazon Princess who is thousands of years old. That's why the Batman movies are going to be almost immediately rebooted, to create a version of Batman where creatures like Clayface and superheroes like the Flash can believably exist. The "realness" factor, while greatly loved by Nolan's fans, is this Batman franchises greatest weakness. It gives NO room for a universe outside of Bruce Wayne, period.
    Pull list:
Adventure Time, Batgirl, Batman & Robin, BOP, Earth 2, Guardians of the Galaxy, He-Man, Katana, Nightwing, Shadowman, Swamp Thing, The Ultimates, Ultimate Spider-Man, Worlds' Finest

Is Batman maybe licensed to a different studio / production company when it comes to movies?

enough said! people always talk about how The Nolan Batman movies are the best but honestly they really limit the storytelling and what villains you can use characters like Clayface Man-Bat Poison Ivy Killer Croc Can't be used without people whining about it being too goofy and not realistic

Christopher Nolan Ruined Batman he made him into a simple minded brute who is in no way a detective and the villains always seem to be one step ahead of him......

Agreed. I'm tired of being shunned when mentioning something like this.

They made him a little more realistic than the average superhero movie.

In Avengers you've got awesome but absurd super powered characters, and a guy running around in robotic armor that defies the laws of physics so they made Widow and Hawkeye almost equally as ridiculous in terms of their fighting and weapon mastery.

Granted it could still be done, and I'm assuming they would use a lot of what Nolan added to the character, but DC would have to make Batman an improbably fighter like Hawkeye and Black Widow, although ideally DC would focus more on his genius level intellect and detective skills since those are truly the unique characteristics he brings to the team

Because Nolan's Batman is serious business. He dont need no Robin or JL. Those are cheesy, unlike dressing up like a bat and fighting clowns!

But more seriously, what Jabare said. Nolan's Batman is too grounded and realistic and fights like a real (drunk?) man would. They need to present him as more than that, he needs to move and fight and be hax like he is in the comics or animated movies. Or... like how Widow and Hawkeye fought in the Avengers. They're supposed to be humans, but those were some pretty impossible stunts and moves they pulled. Batman needs to be like that.

PS: That drunk comment was a jab at the pretty horrible fight choreographies they give him. I mean seriously, this is WB, couldnt they get a better fight coordinator - instructor?

Nah, . . . Batman brings in more money than Aquaman merchandising ever did.
