There are plenty of soldiers there. Gambit, Rachel, Angel, Rogue, Frenzy. The joke about them being competent teachers has worn thin anyway.

This has gotta be a new low-point for Cyclops, but I think he deserves what he's going through right now. He didn't have to go along with Cap. He didn't have to fight him in AvX #3. He made these decisions and now he has to live with it. I think if he tries to keep Cyclops and his team out of his institute, that would make him a hypocrite. His school was supposed to be a sanctuary and if he denies it to mutants who need it, then he's without excuse. If for no other reason, he should allow Cyclops to stay just so he can be in a place named after his wife. That alone would make this issue worth buying.

Utopia was supposed to be a sanctuary, not JGS. The school was for the kids, and Cyke ditched all of his back on Utopia.

The X Men are a paramilitary organization. Ever since issue 1 in 1963.

wolverine, wolverine personal business is no the school business, this was something that was made clear when wolverine introduced the x-force the school, now as headmaster he made the choice to keep the school out, the school is not at war, and as long as there is someone with some sense and who still remembers Charles's dream it should stay that way.

I love how people act like Charles' dream was to have kids learning to control their powers and hang out in mamby pamby land. No! Ever read any silver age X-Men? He sent them on missions to fight Magneto at age 15 and 16!

The point was that JGS is not a sanctuary and they have no obligation to Cyclops, especially if there are no kids with him.
