Yeah, Wolverine is only killing Hope to prevent disaster because he knows that both Scott and Steve would never dealt the final blow when it came right down to it.

How does he KNOW that? What evidence does he have to base off of? He was willing to murder a child who did nothing with no evidence that she will do anything. Stabbing should not be he first option for wolverine if ANY of his growth over the last few years meant a damn thing.

Its called killing for the greater good, (Killing Hope to save all the other children), and its totally in-character and makes sense for Wolverine. He's not a hypocrite, Wolverine has never claimed to be above that, even when he made the school, he still had X-force and he was upfront about that fact.

He's never been against killing kids if it meant saving everyone else, the kid apocalypse saga proves that, even though he hesitated, he agreed with Fantomex that killing him was the right move.

Obviously the Phoenix Force doesn't need a host to kill/rebirth things, but do you honestly believe letting another human become the phoenix is a good idea? Especially Hope of all people.

From my point of view, the Avengers, Team Cyclops, and Team Wolverine are all assholes. The only hero here is Hope. I don't want Hope to die. I like Hope. I'm just waiting for Cable to show up and kick everyone's ass. Cable will be more powerful now. Hope cured him of that virus. I'm just interested to see what happens to Hope, and what Cable will do. It will also be interesting to see what the Scarlet Witch does, and if anyone jumps ship to a different side of the X-Men. I'd like to see the Uncanny X-Men's main roster get changed up a bit. The Uncanny roster as a whole has been anything but uncanny for me lately. I do hope (pun lol) that Hope & Cable stick around on one of the X-Men books as part of a main roster. Uncanny would be awsome if they kept Hope, and added Cable to their ranks.
