I forgot to mention how Damian could lift up the Talon and tie him to the tree. Isnt that impossible considering that Damians has like... half his weight?

I thought this comic was OK. I liked it how it was a Damien solo read. I think him being in the sewer, may quite possibly be that he is away from Batman, so it ties in with Batman #9 etc? Or do you think that is too simple?
I did think about how the bullets didn't really slow the Talon down. I haven't read the other #9's yet but in Batman, the Talons are in a different type of armour right? Maybe that has something to do with it.
Good read. Will keep it in my pull list.
I was little disturbed how Damien (and the story) acts as though only Burrows matters and the dozens of other people the Talon kills don't. Damien didn't even try to help that first group.
This Talon-flashback was pretty stupid and totally unnecessary.
I know Talons are tough...but not to the point of no-selling a dozen M-16s. If we had to get backstory for the Talon, it should have explained why this was some sort of extra-regenerating Super Talon, or had bullet-proof armor or something. Anything would be better than the story of the pointless land deal and the kid who survived but didn't really matter anyway.
I don't have too much of a problem with Damien talking about his backstory, so long as he intended to kill him immediately.

Its as if the talons have been explained to us so from here on anything goes. If one talon survives a nuclear explosion and another slips and breaks a hip on a banana skin so be it. Over scruntiny can and will destroy anything

Dunno, this comic seemed to depict the Talon as a nearly unstoppable zombie murder monster, instead of an incredibly skilled fighter with regenerative abilities that I've seen the Talons as in the Batman comics. I didn't like how the bullets fired from assault rifles, which seemed to penetrate any armor, had zero effect on the Talon, while in Batman a Talon was killed with a pistol.
I also didn't like how getting a grapple hook through the head and eye didn't seem to faze the Talon. I think this issue went way overboard on how unkillable a Talon is, and it took me out of the story.

Damian VS Talon could have been awesome. But it was pretty meh. A single Talon rendered entire army useless and those self sacrificing army guys were way too cheesy.
The flashback was not necessary, but it was awesomely drawn

"That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard." - Damian Wayne
The flashback was way too boring. It threw me right out. But I liked that this was a single issue with a full story.
No, those injuries were caused when Damian and the General crashed. The Talon grabbed hold of one of the wings of the jet pack Damian was wearing and the added weight caused it to crash. I have no problem with those injuries but I do have a problem with how he got off lightly compared to eveyone else so far and with how he managed to catch the only weapon, an arrow, that seemed to come anywhere close to hitting him. It's not like he was shown leaping or moving around to avoid anything, in fact he was standing still giving orders, and he's in a bright red costume among people in drab. For someone that is supposed to be a trained assassin this Talon sure failed to take advantage of these two situations.

This issue went a long way towards making me want to drop the book.
