Batman and Robin #9 Preview/Discussion SPOILERS

Hopefully, this will be an issue that I can enjoy unlike most of the last arc or I'll be dropping it. I really want to like this book but so far it's just not working for me.

why was robin in a sewer in the first place?

At first I thought he was still looking for Bruce, like he was in Batman #6 or 7. But Batman escaped, so I don't know why he'd still be down there. Who knows.

I assumed that he was still looking for Bruce too, but then hasn't Bruce been back for a little while now? I thought it was implied that he had at least some time to rest before the talons attacked Wayne Manor. Did no one seriously call Damian and let him know his father was okay?

That's what I was thinking. And Damian clearly asks how his dad is, so he must know he's back at the Manor.

Probably just one of those things that doesn't get explained, but it's no big deal. He was probably on a case. Who's? Eh, doesn't matter, especially with the Talons attacking.

I thought he was trying to look for the entrance to the maze that Batman was in. He did come from the sewers and this is a Night of the Owls tie-in. Or he might just be out hunting alligators.

I think it means the adjutant General of the forces stationed in Gotham. Although considering there is apparently 15k soldiers ( which is a large Division, and the correct rank for such a command)

Also, is it really a surprise Gotham has a significant military presence?

Lots of ten year olds like fishing, huge fanbase around that age. So this seems the most logical answer to me.

Apparently part of the allure of the Talons is getting to see the Batman family brutally...uh de-animate them without guilt because they're zombies

I wasn't sure if it was established that they can flat out kill them (Damian beheads this one) or just severely hurt them.
