If you read the whole preview you would understand why synder used those "info dumps". Batman is that bat fighting for his survival.

If you open up the page in firefox, you can go to Info>Media, for each image, scroll down and find the link to the raw image which is a couple thousand pixels wide.

So using more than metaphors usually means the writing and story a good amount of depth and meaning to it... Just saying. Also batman is the king of metaphors in comics...
