I actually think I'm going to lay aside my unread copy of Detective until next week.

B-word is implied and it's not even pathetic. It's much lower than that. Bruce, how low can you get in Snyder's hands?
Owls kill bats people. So it was written in the beginning of Manor, so it might come to pass in the present. Dum dum duuuum
I do enjoy how Bruce gets off by playing rough with zombies. His adrenalin must be through the roof.

I am so sick of all this info dump. Do we really need a bunch more thought boxes to tell us that owls kill bats? Holy crap.

    - Damian likes documentaries about Crocodiles, Lions and... you guessed it, OWLS!
    - If you take the initials out of the words "old", "window", "lamp" and "sorry", you get.... OWLS!
    - An Owl killed Kennedy.
    - Marilyn Monrow overdosed on Owls, an experimental drug.
    - Heath Ledger was going to meet the Owlsen sisters but he never showed up.
    - Owls live on the dark side of the moon.

If you read the whole preview you would understand why synder used those "info dumps". Batman is that bat fighting for his survival.

I hate this website's previews. That stupid magnifying glass. Preview looks awesome though. I can't wait to get to the comic book store on Saturday, and start this NotO up.

... thanks for the explanation! Snyder's exposition didn't beat me over the head with the constant Owl metaphors hard enough for me to understand!

If you open up the page in firefox, you can go to Info>Media, for each image, scroll down and find the link to the raw image which is a couple thousand pixels wide.

So using more than metaphors usually means the writing and story a good amount of depth and meaning to it... Just saying. Also batman is the king of metaphors in comics...
