I really enjoyed the OMAC book, so yeah, I'll give this a lash.

I've been enjoying JLI anyway so I'm not just reading it for OMAC. It's a fun, entertaining superhero book. The addition of OMAC to the series after the unfortunate cancellation of his solo series just makes the book even better.I'm glad that they've given him a home in this team and I hope he stays around for a long time.

I dropped the series but found out OMAC was in the next issue so I am back in for now. OMAC and Nightwing are the only reasons I am sticking it out since I haven't enjoyed the book much. I'd love a good purging of Godiva and August General in Iron to help me get my interest back in the book.

Seriously, what do you dislike about OMAC so much that it made you drop the book? Or did you already want to drop it, and his addition seemed as good a reason as any?

Actually, imo, this was one of the better issues. Godiva continues to grow on me and got a lot of attention, but there seemed to be better characterization period this time around.

Clearly, everthing goes at least a little better with OMAC ;)

I dropped the book at issue 7 and have no plans to pick it up again. I should have dropped it at issue 3. Just such a damn waste coming off Generation Lost to end up with this book which tore the heart and soul out of the JLI.

Agree with everything here. I was reading the book for personal favorite (Vixen, Fire, Ice and at the time Booster Gold) but the book was boring and dropped the characters I liked, so I let it go and haven't looked back.

I've considered it, but everything I've read suggests that JLI is just a generic, below average superhero comic, which sort of goes against the spirit of Giffen and Didio's OMAC. I'm am willing to be convinced otherwise, though.

Yup. I might have dropped it, but found out OMAC was going to be around so kept reading it. It's not a bad book, really. Just amazingly average.

I gave up after issue 6, with the explosion at the end. My interest had imploded at that point, and JLI was actually making Geoff Johns' Justice League almost look good in comparison.

What's kind of weird is that it's the "Big Seven" Justice League that's making most of the attempts at comedy while the JLI is being played completely straight.
