I have to admit... I think I kind of dropped this at issue 3 or something, and then just forgot about it...
God-damnit, Wood is HELL'A' BORING! The man doesn't seem to be able to write anything worth a damn when it comes to genre. I do believe I was mistaken about him... I thought he'd be a future young gun, that he was the new Kieron Gillen... Alas, he is not.
He is unfitting for superhero-comics. He should probably go back to doing Indie-stuff, methinks.

It reads much better as a collection / trade. I didn't read past the first two issues as I felt the same way about pace, but a friend dropped all five off this weekend, so I got to read it in one sitting, and it worked well.
