The Elder Scrolls Online!

My friend Daniel has been waiting for this for, well, forever. It takes place 1000 years before Skyrim, and takes place in Cyrodil and Skyrim.

Oh, and DLC for Skyrim has been announced.

I cant say this sounds to interesting, I like Elder Scroll games becuase they are not MMO type games. It would be great if you could have a few people jump into the game with you but iI think they have been pretty much perfect the way they have been. But I hope its different then whats already out there.

I have played Syyrim for like 4 hours total since I bought it at the end of last year, I love it but I have no time to put into it. Speaking of that I still have not beat Arkham City.

So, who is going to see Avengers on Midnight? Who tomorrow? I'm seeing it again next Tuesday.

I think were going tomorrow if not Saturday, I hope it't not in 3D becuase when I watched it it didnt feel like it needed it.

When you said AVX I thought Avengers vs X-Men :P.

I do the same thing. I always get a giant Diet Coke when I go to the movies. It disappears within the first hour, then sends me running for the bathroom right before the climax.

Agh, I hate that, too. I missed the entire ending to the first Transformers because of that. I came back and the credits were rolling :(.

So I've conditioned myself. I can drink as much as I want and just...suffer throughout the movie lol.

That must suck, I dont have that problem my bladder is good for over 8 hours I think it knows when is a good time to go.

LOL. If I had to guess I'd say it stands for "Audio Visual Xtreme" or something. Basically the sound is better, the screen is bigger and you can pre-select your seats. I'll never go back to waiting in lines again.

Also, now there's VIP, which obviously everyone knows what that stands for. It's like AVX but they also bring you your food and they serve alcohol. 18+ (obviously). I've never done it yet, but for price of admission you can already buy the DVD XD.

I don't have to wait in line that much. I'm usually the first.

I hate that. I've learned to take small sips until I know the movie is almost over then I chug.

Dude, I missed the friggin' climax of Star Trek! I held it in as long as I possibly could, but I knew that I had to either run or piss myself. When I got out of my seat, the big final battle was getting underway. When I got back to my seat, Pike was being promoted to Admiral. My wife had to explain the ending to me.

I don't like people explaining the ending to me. They usually never do a good job. It's like, "What did I miss?" My friend looks at me and sums up the ending in less than six words. No details just: The Autobots won.

Oh man it's always funny to see people like you and me running to the restroom. But for some reason I don't right away go to the restroom. I think to myself when is a boring scene to leave so that no one is focused on me and I don't miss out. It whines up up usually taking me longer to wait.

I have done that as well were I just suffered. I am usually the first one to leave lol.

I don't even drink anything on the day I go to a movie anymore lol. I buy a soda and that will be the only thing I have, and I usually end up sharing it with my friend.

Of course, going to the theatre these days is just about the most fiscally irresponsible thing you can do. With the price of movie tickets, concessions, and fuel, I'm looking at a solid $50 for one movie. For that price, I can buy a new movie on Blu-ray, order pizza from the most expensive pizzeria in town, and fill a cooler with ice and drinks.

Before I had kids, my wife and I saw a movie nearly every weekend. We had much more free time and money then. Now we only go to the theatres to see the few movies that we're really excited about. (This summer, I'll probably just see The Avengers, The Dark Knight Rises, and The Amazing Spider-Man.)

There's only one decent theatre near me, and prime-time tickets are $10 online (or $9 if you buy them at the door, which I do not recommend). Matinee tickets are $8, I think. (Also $1 cheaper at the door.)

Matinee is 5 bucks. Regular is 8.00. Student id tickets $7 woot woot for me. Military $6.50. 3-d tickets are usually more expensive though.

I'd completely forgotten about 3D tickets. At my theatre, it's $14 for the additional headache.

PS, @Sinx: Oh man, you aint gonna like Action Comics #9, i just know it. It was fucking beautiful. We've finally more or less figured out what is the big plan of the Little Man, we get to see a whole huge take on the Social Crusader Superman, in the earth-23 where he has become the president of USA and is doing an very awesome job at improving the world, not to mention we get some trashing towards DC comics with the legal cases of Superman, and Superdoom, wow! What a brilliant issue. :)

Yeah, I always opt for the 2D whenever possible.

The movie studios and TV manufacturers keep trying to ram 3D down our throats, and the general populace just doesn't want it. I have a few suspicions about why they're so insistent on it *coughpiracycough*, but I just want it to go away. It's not going to "catch on". It's just annoying.

We're in a small town, so it's not often that a movie is sold out. So everybody just buys at the door.

Then, since you in VIP you're gonna want to have some alcohol, so let's say at least $7 a drink, so with only one each that'll be $68. Of course you don't ONLY want alcohol, you want a normal drink as well, so now we're at about $80. Don't forget about taxes, which here is 5%. So grand total is $84.00.
