I didn't make it out to the comic store today, so I'll have to wait until Friday now. =( This sucks. I hope the shop doesn't run out of copies of Detective Comics or Earth 2 because those aren't on my pull list currently.

Earth 2 was kind of weird. I'm not giving spoilers but I have no idea what is going on.

Since I totally skipped over the fact that the second wave was hitting this month when I turned my order, I decided to actually pick up comics from a store.

I thought Earth 2 was fantastic. It went over completely different than I had imagined after hearing Robinson talk about a while back.

Also picked up Mind the Gap cuz it looked interesting. Might post some thoughts on that later if I'm still around.

Agreed! That was very satisfying and I'm not a Wolverine hater. But I would also argue that Captain America had it coming too when Wolverine fought him. Captain America is supposed to be a master strategist, yet he's undermining someone who has much more experience with the Phoenix Force than him. And in AvX #3, he was outsmarted by Cyclops not once but twice. Maybe it's just Marvel's way of keeping the balance after the beating the X-men took, but Cap still has no excuse. For Wolverine, I think he just got kicked out of the Avengers quite literally and given the poor standing he has with Cyclops he's losing friends left and right. Plus, he got burnt to a crisp by a red-haired, green eyed woman again. I'd say that's an epic win if ever there was one.

Yeah, the lore is what got me. With other cards there isn't really anything to them, unless you watch their respective shows (Yu-Gi-Oh, Duelmasters, etc). But with Magic, they first build a storyline then release the cards in a block (contains three booster sets). When you read the flavor texts you get a little bit of the story, which is expanded upon in the online comics and the books, and in the ongoing comic.
