Just read my pull from Wed. AvX was awesome, Cap needing the Avengers to take down Logan was awesome. I can't wait to see what Logan comes up with. UCSM was a really good issue to, it didn't have a lot of action but it was still a great read.
1) Find a bad guy
2) Be Wolverine
Ultimate Wolverine is coming back, sort of!
Avengers!!!

Happiness:
Wow, what a magnificent movie! It had everything that a modern (super hero) movie should have, from action to comedy and everything in between. The story was amazing and the special effects were absolutely fantastic. New York done got messed up.
Sadness:
Coulson died!?!?! WTF? You could tell that EVERYONE in the theater mourned him. The entire audience gasped when he was stabbed and no one made a single sound when he passed (yes I know it's a movie theater and everyone is supposed to be quiet, but everyone was laughing and being merry the entire time except then). Rest In Peace, Agent Phillip Coulson, you will be missed,
Confusion:
Did I miss the part where they explained how Thor got back to Earth? I mean, I know in the THOR movie there were constant references to "back doors" and whatnot and that there were multiple ways in and out of Asgard, but I don't think this movie explained further exactly how he got back. If they were going to do that they should have just explained at the end of THOR that he has a way back. Oh well, it doesn't matter. I'm just wondering if I had missed something.
Giddiness:
All of the action throughout the movie was superb. The last half of the movie where the Chitauri invaded was nothing short of spectacular. The Avengers worked together like champs and the chemistry between the characters was great; especially between Hulk and Thor. The scene where they finished taking down some baddies and then after a brief pause Hulk punches Thor off-screen will go down in history as one of the funniest things I have ever seen. Second to that was the scene where Hulk went up against Loki and totally beat the snot out of him while Loki was trying to explain how he was a god and Hulk was nothing more than a bullying beast. So funny. I believe I read earlier today that Plawsky spent the entire second half of the movie with a smile across his face, and I was the exact same. There wasn't a single moment where this film lost momentum (well, except for the one part where I had to race to the washroom because I couldn't see myself holding it any longer, but that was more my fault than the movie's). I also loved the post-credits scene where they are all eating at that place that Tony kept wanting to eat at. The team deserved a nice meal ;P Also, the helicarrier was awesome! The only thing that would have made the whole SHIELD experience better would have been the inclusion of the Triskelion, but I suppose that's aiming a little high (Although maybe not, since the Avengers movie borrowed such elements as the Chitauri invasion and Loki being an ass for the sake of being an ass from the Ultimates, not to mention Nick Fury and Hawkeye representing their Ultimate counterparts and the Ultimate SHIELD emblem being plastered all over the place).
Anticipation:
So the Chitauri are also working with Thanos. Wow. If this is supposed to be the plot-setup for Avengers 2 I already know it will be fantastic. I don't know much about Thanos but I assume he's more or less the Marvel Comics version of Darkseid: Large unbeatable alien dude. We also know that in the next few years we will be getting Iron Man 3, Nick Fury and Thor 2 at the very least, More may have been confirmed but I don't think that Captain America 2 or Avengers 2 have been confirmed yet. I wouldn't mind delving deeper into Hawkeye and Black Widow, but I doubt they'll get their own movies.
Conclusion:
Seriously, I have loved all of the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies thus far (Iron Man, Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor and Captain America: First Avenger) but this one blew them all out of the water. Combined. And it's not surprising, since it's a combination of/sequel to all of them and had such a large budget and included some big name actors reprising their roles *coughedwardnortoncough* I will for sure be seeing this movie again in theaters if I can. Anyone who hasn't seen it, and has read this far and seen all the spoilers anyway, see it now! It's worth it, and more.
