I finally caught up to Invincible and I loved every issue of it. Im sure reading it monthy gave it a different feel becuase it didnt take me long to read about 30 issues. I think if you like ultimate Spider-man you will like Invincible and I would say that it has much better pay offs per issue then Ultimate Spider-man does but its still a quick read. This is easily the best "superhero" comic out there in my opinion.

Invincible is awesome! I've been reading it for a few years now and the stories are amazing. It's pure super hero goodness through and through. It's fun, has great writing and characters and Ryan Ottley kills the art every issue!

The more I see of the Spider-Man reboot the more I notice stuff that just pisses me off. Emma Stone is...Emma Stone in...every movie ever, including this one! Is it possible for her not to play the same character in every film? I mean seriously, is it?

I do however agree that talent within an actor is best portrayed through their diversity. But not everyone's a Tom Hardy.

The Walking Dead Compendium Vol. 2 will be released in August or September. Kirkman said so in the letters page of #95.

So it stands to reason that the Invincible Compendium Vol. 2 will be coming out soon as well. Invincible #92 came out recently and I think the second compendium will collect up to issue #95 (scheduled for release in August) So I'd guess around Xmas 2012 for the second Invincible compendium.

I finally got round to reading the Deadpool & Cable Omnibus One. It was brilliant. Written really well, excellent dialogue and truly sensational artwork by Mark Brooks. Very colourful. I've never seen Deadpool or Cable drawn so well, nor portrayed so well. Deadpool makes me literally LOL at least once every issue and Cable is badass and very cool. Great comic. Loved it. Now onto D&C omnibuses 2 and 3.

PS: I know this might seem pretty spontaneous of me to just blurt out my opinion like this but you asked to know what I thought of it once I'd read it. I think you were pondering on picking it up. I'd imagine you'd really enjoy it.

I've spent a lot of time bashing the Ultimate Spider-Man animated series in this thread, but I've really enjoyed the past few episodes. Last week, I literally laughed out loud at the appearance of Throg, and today's episode was a fun throwback to one of my favorite Ultimate Spider-Man stories (#66-67).

I'm gonna cautiously suggest that this show might be moving in the right direction. However, it's gotta commit to either action or comedy, because doing both well in a 30-minute time slot is nearly impossible.

I've been trying to catch up with that show as well. I hear so many people say it's awesome. I didn't understand why until after I watched a few episodes. It's gritty, it's violent, and it's got some T&A to boot. That sounds like a quality HBO show in my book so I hope to catch up before next season while also enjoying the new season of True Blood along the way. Anybody been keeping up with that show as well?
