Ultimately Off-Topic VI: Another Star Trek Reference

"Yay" in an awkward way? Instead of flaws I would have preferred something that gave the living Gwen more story potential besides being a foil or a love interest. I feel the Spider-Man remake did great at making Gwen more than just a damsel in distress; it made her the true heroine of NY.

I really did like the Stacy twins. Sins Remembered was one of my favorite stories ever and I felt the ending to that story was beautiful. That aside, having Norman mess with Peter's girlfriend was disturbing and truly villainous. I bet it elevated him in status as antagonist.

I've already had a LONG thing about why Gewn in the movie was bad so I'm not getting into that again. If you're interested you can read about it here on my blog.

Sin's Past turned Gwen into a character for me and it served as a great reminder just how evil Norman truly is.

I finished the first arc of JMS's Thor and JMS has officially turned me into a Thor fan. The raw emotion and anger Thor had fighting Iron Man. The way Thor helped those in Africa while still respecting their wishes. I've always HATED Thor thanks to Mark Millar. I NEVER thought I would like Thor but this...this was amazing. Beautiful work. To change the topic of conversation of an off-topic thread, how bad a sign would it be if you had a crazy dream about a killer clown that showed up in what you think might be a twisted parallel of True Blood? I've been a bit sleep deprived for the past 4 days and it's starting to show. For some reason, I can't sleep deep, but I can sleep well enough to have dreams. And it's starting to disturb me (as if I wasn't disturbed enough already).

I'm not recommending Ultimates 1, 2 and Ultimate: Thor because i am quite sure you've read them already, but yeah Thor has become like my favorite Marvel hero alongside Captain America. Next year we'll hopefully get Dan Jurgens Thor omni.
