This does look like an improvement from the last two issues of Teen Titans.
[QUOTE=Flashpoint;15077846]Booth's original ideas for TT costumes we've actually never seen.
Booth actually posted one of his initial Red Robin ideas on his blog fairly recently:
Two things that mesh about as well as Christian Bales Batman and Adam West's.I completely disagree. To me, this is like a strong blend of the characterization and drama of the Wolfman/Perez Titans and the comedy of the 90s Young Justice.

DC has been dark since Identity Crisis so this doesn't appear any different to me than usual. You can say that it happens (Geoff Johns in Aquaman) but you can't act like it's a basic rule of this new universe. If it does come to pass, that'll be a black mark agains the ex-Marvel trio. They'll lose sales for being predictable.
I still totally dig the Tron suits.
Artemis don't look very non-white. She's Mia Dearden. Calling it. Also calling she'll survive the Culling and having a role in a mini or ongoing.
This looks better than the last couple of TT issues but I'm still not sold on it or the overall crossover. I enjoyed TT at the start but it's taking Tim in a direction that I'm not liking. Because of that TT is in a downward spiral for me right now and "The Culling" is going to make or break this book for me personally. If the crossover is entertaining and Tim stops acting like a teenaged Batman lite then I'll reconsider dropping it after "The Culling".
Current Top Ten Comics: Earth 2, Red Hood and the Outlaws, Talon, Demon Knights, Transformers: Regeneration One, Young Avengers, Batman Beyond Unlimited, Nightwing, Flash, Aquaman
I think people are getting too worked up of scott watching young justice as he never said he was against the show, so that doesnt mean he couldnt have watched the show in betwen the 8 months from the relaunch.
i dont think Artemis is a amalgam of artemis and mia or artemis and arrowette but her lack of asian features could be due to the artstyle. Plus artemis doesn't really have asian features due to genes or something. She isn't a character brought in from YJ as her character exist before as Tigress a obscure JSA villian.
I'm not saying Artemis is an amalgram of the crappy YJ character and Mia. I'm saying it is /Mia going by the secret identity of Artemis. And I suspect I'm completely correct. The character does look exactly as I think Booth would draw Mia, and Artemis works better as a codename than Speedy would, particularly for the 6 kids who watch YJ and now read Titans.
If it does turn out to be the sort of Asian blond (wtf...) from YJ, I suspect she'll die in the crossover.
