Jean resurected Emma, I don't see why it'd be nonsensical for her to be able to talk to her directly. She's her pet plaything now, body and soul.

Does it mean they shared ultimate intimacy???? Emma was Phoenix for a short time interval in Endsong, and since Phoenix is Jean and Jean is Phoenix...

Not really, Emma was reduced to a pile of rubble. She couldn't be more dead. Jean created some Golem in her semblance.

It was the Fear Itself writer, not really knowing what he was doing, tbh.
Sorry Brevoort, Alonso and Lowe, but Jean Grey is a classic character. She'll outlive you regardless. :)
