From what little we saw of WW I loved every bit of it. Nicola draws probably one of the BEST renditions of WW and she made that new outift look great, I wish it was the main one. Though I think that she wouldnt have been caught so off guard from someone sneaking up behind her. Also was sooo nice to see a regular looking god instead of them being morphed into some monster looking thang.
I'm still not really seeing how this is "bait and switch" in any way at all.
Now, solliciting a Helena Bertinelli - Huntress mini series only to kill her off panel some time before the first issue and having it turn out in the final issue that the mini has been about Helena Bloody Wayne instead, that's bait and switch.
'The marquis. Well, you know, to be honest, he seems a little bit dodgy to me.'
'Mm,' she agreed. 'He's a little bit dodgy in the same way that rats are a little bit covered in fur."
Diana says "kill" many times. Her primary tool is a sword—oh boy, that'll work on an army of demons. She is mere (beautiful) muscle with no great mind behind it. She hacks away individually at the bunch while Batman (who else?) saves the day. (Amazingly, the All-Great and Powerful Superman doesn't pack much of a punch here. He too must bow before the Batgod.)
Her gods are again portrayed as mere capes in fancy disguise. Not gods at all, really. Once more the Amazons are decimated. How many times is that in the past 3 years?
Nope, think I'll skip this unless Donna Troy shows up in some fashion. Depressed/egomaniac heroes are a dime a dozen these days, and I have no wish to read their stories. I will hope at least that the JSA doesn't become the overgrown Legion of Conflicted, Confusing, and Ultimately Boring Heroes that it so often winds up being.
Nice artwork, though.
I doubt Jay is going to be depressed for long; he was wishing for a purpose, and now he has one. And did you see Alan as an egomaniac? I guess I can see that, but it's not really how I read it; he seemed more impressed by the superheros than by himself, to me. I'll have to reread it. Al Pratt didn't seem either depressed or egomaniacal to me--more like a a good soldier with a job to do.
Same here. If I buy any more of these, it'll be because favorite characters are being drawn by a favorite artist; but so far the story seems tragic and ultraviolent, more of the same old same old.....
Oh, and many historians now believe that the Grey Aliens also had some input in writing the U.S. Constitution in Eden, but it's unclear whether they were actually present at the drafting. There are intriguing clues in the original Esperanto version, though.

Nah, Batman died in a blaze of glory. Diana got punked by an 80s metal band. I liked the part where Superman calls her "Sensational" and Nicola's art has never looked better, but even Earth 2... Wonder Woman deserved at least a glorious battle before death.
In that scene she just kinda herpa-derped and got skewered from behind. If the Trinity from that dimension is that weak sauce, that keeps the bar pretty low for JSA and the worlds' finest heroes.
All that aside, I'm still on board and found plenty to enjoy despite rushed and unimpressive death scenes.
