I just finished Batman and Son, Black Glove, and R.I.P.

    Amazing mind trip.

I'm not sure about Batman and Robin Volume 1 and 2.

I'm thinking just going into Return of Bruce Wayne.

Do I need to read Batman and Robin? Are they any good?

What about Batman, Inc. Is that any good?

I'm hoping his stuff just keeps getting better but I'm worried about these titles.

    Hi Teedus,

I've only read vol.1 of Morrison's Batman and Robin. It's very good, and I'm hoping to get vols. 2 & 3 soon.

Return of Bruce Wayne is also very good, one of my favorite Batman stories. I didn't feel like I needed to have read Batman and Robin to understand it.

    Hope that helps some. :)

As good as what you read so far is, Batman and Robin is even better. Don't forget to include volume 3.

Return of Bruce Wayne is also really good, and sort of runs alongside Batman and Robin.

Before reading that though, I suggest you track down the "Time and the Batman" trade, because it contains 2 crucial issues that explains what happened to Bruce Wayne.

Is it any good? Batman and Robin is the highlight of Morrison's Batman epic IMO. Its fantastic!

B&R 2 and 3 compliment Return of BW really well. I, like you, once wondered whether I needed all the Morrison books and came to the inevitable conclusion that it is all worth reading. I've read it all now including Final Crisis and Batman Inc and am really looking forward to the new volume of Incorporated starting this month. Get The Black Casebook too.

Batman inc is a lot of fun, maybe a little OOC, but worth reading.

All of Morrison's run is really just one epic mega story. Think of it this way:

    Batman and Son/Black Glove/R.I.P is Act 1

Batman and Robin/Return of Bruce Wayne is Act 2

    Batman Inc. is Act 3

So yes, Batman and Robin is important. And damn good, too.
Top 5 favorite current books (in no particular order): Batman Inc., Batman, Batman and Robin, Daredevil, Superior Spider-Man
