I don't actually know anything about Unit (beyond reading a very vague description on the Marvel Wiki), and what his powers are. Anyone care to clarify?

Unit is a spooky sentient alien robot that is designed to "purify" stuff. He spent a long time imprisoned on the Peak (the space HQ of SWORD). When the Peak fell, he fell to Earth. He's a long-term planner extraordinaire. SWORD used to consult with him, despite his prisoner status, on how to deal with other races diplomatically. His powers mostly include massively superhuman planning and analysis plus, oh yeah, the ability to make pretty much any living or unliving thing do exactly what he tells them to. It isn't limited to TP (and has trivially overridden strong minds including a just-starting-to-come-out Hope), it also sometimes involves pheromones and other stuff, plus he hacked Danger with a word. He also trivially controlled Colossus in full Juggy mode (ie, with helmet and cap). He seems to have basically impenetrable shields. He is only a prisoner because he let himself become one, and he's only staying because he wants to.
