"Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power."
-Abraham Lincoln
"We thought that by making your world more violent, we would make it more 'realistic,' more 'adult.' God help us if that's what it means."
-Grant Morrison to Animal Man, Animal Man #26
Moon Knight becomes empowered by Khonshu as the god of the moon and vengeance. Superstrength, flight, light generation, gravity control (moon), madness and illusion abilities, teleportation. Powers greater at night and under the light of the moon. He has his godly temple/pyramid on the moon and is now the earthly avatar of Khonshu. He has reached apotheosis.
Mr. Stark trades in his power core for the Granzon's Annihilation Engine, granting him near-limitless power with which to power his force-field and weapons.
In addition, the Annihilation Engine grants him the ability to manipulate gravity, including forming clusters of black holes (screw science).
Urd gets a sex change. There, from Goddess ➔ God.![]()
"Our cash flow is as if a profligate son keeps borrowing money to spend on Geisha, which is why we don’t have a choice not to enjoy the race." ~DOME CO. LTD, on their 2012 LeMans effort...
Hmm... I would make Captain America into a god of, I dunno, patriotism, or freedom, or some such nonsense. Basically pull a Scion, and make it so his Legend becomes so high, he surpasses mortal boundaries to become an idealized self. As for powers, essentially, he'd become Superman in power scale (actually, Amalgam's Super Soldier is a good example).
It's a lie! My pants were off the entire time!
The Shrike's speed becomes truly infinite.
He gets the ability to destroy ships that fight in suns with their shields up with one punch. And around the same level of durability.
Not much else needs changing.
Well, my fave is Superman, who's already pretty close. Then there's The Doctor, but he's often treated as a trickster god already. Captain Kirk, maybe? At least he knows that "above all else, a god needs compassion".
Pull List; seems to be too long to fit in my sig...
He-God. Master of the Universe.
Tony Stark (to Thor): Doth Mother know you weareth her drapes?
Won lots of stuff...
Rorschach's tenacity enables him to "live" through his intrinsic field subtraction, and a second Dr. Manhattan is born.
To paraphrase Milton Glass, "If that statement starts to chill you after a couple of moments' consideration, then don't be alarmed. A feeling of intense and crushing terror at the concept of a god with Rorschach's mindset indicates only that you are still sane."

Alex Merkel(Ragdoll's evil-er sister): Her super strength goes way up and her contortionism becomes high-level elasticity such that she can stretch bits of herself out through the plumbing system for miles, reach out through the faucets and eviscerate everyone in Gotham simultaneously, all from within her crate. This also allows her to take her self-disfigurement up a dozen notches, so that the sight of her face or naked body render the onlooker permanently desperately suicidal.
Leech: His power negation ability is no longer limited to mutant powers, or even superpowers. He can negate anyone's ability to walk, think, breathe, metabolize food, maintain homeostasis, maintain molecular cohesion, etc., with no range limit.
"doing the same thing over and over again but expecting different results" is neither the actual definition of insanity nor an actual Albert Einstein/Ben Franklin/Mark Twain quote.
Joseph Joestar gains omniscience from his powers of insight and intuition, is able to bend fate to pure serendipity due to his dumb luck, and gains electrostatic, magnetic, clairvoyance, and particular vampire-killing powers from his Stand and training in Hamon
He also gains a godly amount of speed to enact the secret Joestar technique for perilous situations.
Gaius Tavarius Magnus. His regenerative abilities are now on a par with people like Mitchell Shelley or Lobo and his fury crafting abilities are amped to the point where he rivals Alera and the other Great Furies in power.
John Crichton. Retains all his Wormhole knowledge and is now capable of creating Wormhole Weapons without assistance from Moya's DRDs.
Shiki Tohno. Keeps his Eyes of Death perception but develops high level regenerative abilities as well.
Toph Bei Fong. Develops High Lord Level Earth and Metal Fury crafting powers in addition to her earth bending abilities.
A Flock of Sheep.
A Pack of Wolves.
