Default Still wondering about Earth Two and Worlds' Finest?

Anybody who still may not have decided whether to pick these up or not may be interested in this advance review:

I was planning to give Earth 2 a try because I suspected it wouldn't be yet another Trinity-fest, best efforts of DC's marketers notwithstanding. I also like the bit about
It's that sort of deeper world underneath the surface that lets Robinson have his cake and eat it, too, in a way that I think The New 52 has avoided to a self-conscious and even self-destructive extent — it alludes to a deeper history of the DCU, a bigger world than we know, one that we'll all uncover and discover together.
It's spot on, and something that has been sorely lacking in the DCnU.

As for World's Finest, well I'm still ****ed off about Helena B. So maybe I'll pick it up in a few months after the sting has worn off. It was nice to see that

Yet I'd argue that the most important thing about Worlds' Finest is that, like Gail Simone's Birds of Prey before it, these are some three-dimensional, personality-driven female characters that aren't defined by sex appeal or directed by their make counterparts.
Even if I'm not buying it I'm glad it is doing that. And hell, I'm buying BoP and I swore I wouldn't.

I'm betting the trinity bites the bucket in E2 #1.

I'm still cautious with Worlds' Finest. Got burned by Huntress, and Perez's art looks a bit off for him (may be the inking, I can't place my finger on it) so I'm going in there with not the highest expectations. Hopefully the more super hero element uplifts it, and entertains me.

I got World's Finest coming in the mail. I probably won't be picking up Earth 2, though the art is so good it is tempting.

Sounds like you need 20 cc's of Haunted Tank and Enemy Ace, stat!

Heartening reviews, even if I'm still undecided about Earth 2. (Dammit, why can't you just give us the JSA? "Classic" is not a 4-letter word.) But curiosity may get the better of me. Guess I'll decide in the store.

I will be happy either way but I am hoping you are right.

I am really glad both of these books are getting some good publicity so far. I have anxiously awaiting Earth 2 and if World's Finest impresses me I make follow that one, too.

High interest in Earth 2. Low interest in World's Finest. I'll see how much money I have left after buying my regular books and if I have enough, I'll give World's Finest a shot. Although I'd probably even try GI Combat before that.

I remain on the fence about Earth 2. Considering what the reviewer considered to be an example of a 'great' one liner, it does appear that they're quite easily pleased.

I doubt they would tease all these changes to the trinity if they don't even last past the first issue.

Yeah, the trinity dying in the first issue just seems crazy, but who knows I guess? But yeah, definitely have a huge hype level for Earth 2! Today we are finally going to know why he has been so secretive on the interviews he has been doing!
