IGN's Top 50 Avengers

Wolverine has been great with the Avengers but he shouldn't be in the top 5, maybe in the top 15, but not top 5.

As much as I hate Wolverine, I expected him on here.
But 5?!
What were his memorable moments in the Avengers that warrant him being number FIVE?!

Not 5 mind you, but saving the teams ass in Savage land, taking on Aggamatto and Ragnarok, and all his moments with the NA warrant his placement.

i would be content with Wolverine and Ms. Marvel switching places

Also Putting any of the Dark avengers on this lists says to me they missed the point of the DA.

Also Ares seems a little high, even though I really like the character

Dang Storm made 37. I'm a little confused Storm is a phenomenal character and is a top 10 comic character in her own right, but she's been on the Avengers for what........ 3 issues, maybe 4. What was the criteria for ranking these heroes?

Some people should be higher and others shouldn't really be on the list at all cuz they're either too new or kind-a evil...

Listen I like the character and everything but Rulk hasn't done anything to warrant that placement. Falcon, Julia Carpenter, Ironfist and Quicksilver have all had much more notable careers as Avengers than Rulk has. Heck they've also been Avengers for much longer. Rulk has only been an Avenger for two arcs. The stupid Hood infinity Gem arc, and the boring Osborn returns power mimicry arc, which was just super cliche. As for AvX everyone is in AvX, and he was no more a general than DareDevil was.

His big role in Sanction-X, His big moment in Fear Itself, ect. also again what have falcon , Carpenter, and Iron Fist done that makes them more avengers then Red Hulk, other then being on the time 15 years ago, [Iron fist has done allot for the avengers in recent years but id still put him as even at best with Red hulk]

I do love Jessica Drew... but...

Her bio was also totally... off.

Viper is not her mother... and I have no idea what "refreshing lightness" her personality has added to the team. She's either been wallpaper or depressed and brooding ever since Secret Invasion ended and the real Jessica Drew returned. The gloomy dark cloud over her head only disappeared after she started making out with Hawkeye on a regular basis.

...actually it's pretty terrible, even I think it's bad. Why is Spidey always so high on these Avengers lists? He's done absolutely NOTHING.
