Considering the length of time before the next major blockbuster, this movie has the potential to hit ~$700million, maybe even $800million. I don't think it'll hit $1 billion but, it will have a very good run in theaters especially if it's as good as everyone's been saying.
Why aren't you reading Winter Soldier? You should be!
The Avengers deserve this success, too!
Congrats to everyone involved. I am so freaking psyched about Thursday.
Having seen it, I say it deserves the success.

It doeds make me wonder. Given the success of Avengers and with Batman about to be rebooted after Dark Knight Rises maybe DC could take the past Marvel Films route and make DC Films set in the same universe. Like the Batman reboot could be set in the same universe this Superman reboot is on and whenever they do a Wonder Woman film have it set in the same universe as those two while building up to a Justice League movie

Avengers Assemble . . . to count your money!
Nah, scratch that. Don't count your money. Just weigh it -- it's faster that way.
$500 million and Marvel still can't treat Jack Kirby's family right...
Yay for a comic movie that does well, especially after the trainwrecks last year.
