Well, Mercer's regen beats the heck out of Heller's. In addition, I don't see how Heller could possibly assimilate Mercer, given that...well, Mercer is Blacklight taking a human form, not just a guy infected with it. (Yes, that is another reason why Prototype 2's final fight made no sense.)

So...I'd say Mercer eventually hurts Heller enough that he stops moving. And then assimilate him.

Mercer has more abilities than Heller as well, the full armor form for instance. Not to mention he has far more Devastators.

Prototype 2 is not even out yet. I would think that we would wait until it's released before posting fights with Heller.

They seem to be some sort of grown organisms. At least as far as Hunters goes, not idea for Goliaths.

The Supreme Hunter is the closest thing to Mercer that I can think of. And he killed it instead of absorbing it.

Hmm, that may be true. I thought the Hunters were made by taking a few infected humans and melting them down into goo that is then used to create these beasts.

As for the Supreme Hunter, I think it was because Alex didn't have any time to mess around by eating it. He had to go get the nuke and fly it away.

Of course, whether the creature is still alive or not is up for debate....

yeah, after the nuke went off, Alex was caught in the blast, he pulled himself together (no irony intended) by consuming a crow, so yeah.

The Supreme Hunter was the parasite created to destroy Mercer and modified be Greene. Absorbing that thing would had been very bad for Mercer's health.
